I wonder if Disney includes these fees.....can you take pictures outside for free? How do they police it?

I don't know how they police it ... but I do know I wouldn't want to get caught breaking the law in Russia!!

No charge for taking pictures outside. You are given a sticker to either place on your camera or on your person once you have paid the fee.

I wouldn't want to be caught breaking any rules or laws there either.

We did take a subway ride and our guide told us to leave everything in the van so there was no chance of anyone taking pics in there and for our safety of not having anything stolen.


BTW....when we were there in 2008 it was approximately 25 rubles to the $1, so the fee really was small in the overall scheme of the tour price.

You are allowed to take pics inside Catherine's Palace and Yusopov's Palace, we paid the fees for both venues.
We did not go inside Peterhof Palace so I do not know about that one.
In the Hermitage, there are a couple of rooms where NO pics are allowed. In Catherine's Palace you are not allowed to take pics of the Amber Room.
