Hi all! I just wanted to say a quick "Hello" to Teena! We met at the BC a few weeks ago, when my family was staying at the villas! Thanks Teena for pin trading with my kids, they had a ball with that! You were so very friendly and I liked our little chat!

By the way, I asked you about a test and you sent me to the little store at the BC. Although they did not have it, they pointed me toward Turner Drug who promptly delivered it to the resort! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! By the way, I was right!!! Thanks for helping me to put my mind at ease!

Take care!!!

Great to hear from you. Glad you got "your mind at ease":goodvibes. I loved meeting you and the family and hope you'll be back again!! Please give the kids a hug from me!

Everyone is making the CL sound so good. Does anyone know if someone using DVC reservation points for a SV at YC can pay cash at check-in for an upgrade to CL? (If available of course) We've been able to upgrade at port with cash on DCL. But I wasn't sure about the WDW resorts.

Hi eveyone! Planning our next WDW trip!!!! I am planning on staying at BCV May 28- June 3, 2011. We will be there over my son's 1st Birthday. Has anyone ever ha a cake delivered to their room? I am wondering if I should have one delivered or pick it up at Boardwalk Bakery. Anyone have any experience with this?

This will be our first time at BC. We walked around last trip and DD and DH loved the look of SAB!

When we stayed at BWI, I had it delivered but I would just pick up a Mickey cake from Boardwalk Bakery.

I just got a PIN in the mail today so I'm going to book my trip in late August! I'm SO excited!!! I think we're going to try to stay in a one bedroom at BCV (it'll be me, DH, and my 3 kids - ages 6, 4, 2). Any suggestions about room requests? We've never stayed at BC or BCV. It sounds awesome!

Amanda

Help me figure out what my BCV room number was on our last trip! We cannont remember the room number we had and we loved the location and want to request that room again.

We stayed in a 1BR on the ground level. Our room was near the entrance door to the quiet pool. If you walked in that entrance the elevator was right there. We were on the wall opposite the quiet pool/parking lot. I feel like it was _65?

Thanks!!

We will be arriving Sunday!

I have to do some classwork while there. I read there is a business center with computers. Is this true? How much does it cost to use them and for internet access? Do they have limited hours or can I use them at midnight for example?

Thank you!

I just called the resort this evening because we may need to use the business center to sign documents that can't wait until we get back. They told me it is open from 7:00am to 7:00pm. If you use their computers, it is $6.00 for 10 mins, $9.00 for 20 mins, and $20.00 for an hour. I didn't ask what the fee was to just use the internet because we aren't planning on bringing our lap top. The price for faxes was $5.00 for the 1st page and $3.00 for each page after that. To receive a fax, it is $1.00 per page.

Hope you have a great time! :goodvibes

I will be there this Thursday. If no one gets back to you I'll do some reconnaissance and let you know.

Just back from a week at the BCV and it was FANTASTIC!!!!! I already booked another week for Dec 2010.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa (villa # 552 and end villa) we were on the fifth floor and had excellent views of Illuminations (the upper fireworks only). We could hear the music from our balcony. We had 3 balconies (one for each bedroom and one for the living room). We slept with the balcony door open in the master bedroom and we could hear a little noise from the service road- but not bad.

We found a back way around the villas to get to Epcot- the only problem was that the sidewalks weren't well lite. One night there were no lights on the sidewalk at all- if my husband wasn't with me, I don't think I would have gone that way.

Teena- sorry I didn't get to talk to you except when we checked in- we were usually out the door by 7:45 am for breakfast in one of the resorts before we started out to the parks.

Can anyone tell me if there is a refrigerator in the regular Beach Club rooms? Or is there just refrigerators in the villas?

Thank you!

No problem. Glad you had a super time and are coming back!!!!

and i just can't search through all :)...are all the rooms rehabbed in the yacht club now? I stayed there in may 09, and was the rehab done after this? also, is there a way to see any pictures, or what was changed? The ones on the disney website don't look new, but maybe that is a rehabbed room. thanks for any help and sorry again for the repeats!!!

Yes, they have all been rehabbed and there are pictures on this thread.

No you can't. Point stays and cash stays are two different systems they can not connect so upgrades are impossible. From what I know of that is, maybe someone will confirm.

YIKES!
Disney's business center isn't exactly encouraging business, is it?

As was mentioned, bc standard rooms do.

That raises a question and someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Don't all WDW deluxe rooms have a small fridge? Any exceptions?
