Is that just at the Beach Club or is that true for the Yacht Club too?

What is the difference between the Water/Pool View rooms and the Lagoon View rooms?

A standard garden view CL room is on the fifth floor (where the lounge is). It has a view of trees, courtyard, parking lot or roof. About 95% of those rooms have full balconies.

A deluxe room is on the first floor, second floor, third floor or fourth floor. There are very few of these rooms. You get key access to the fifth floor to use the club level lounge. The rooms are larger in size and have two queens and a daybed. They either have a patio (first floor), standing balcony or full balcony.

A water view club level room ... they are all on the fifth floor. About 95% of them have full balconies and you can see water (lake and/or pool) from the rooms (thus why they call it water view).

Thank you so much! After reading this, I think my best bet (and money saver) would be Garden View Club level. What do you think? The view from the balcony is not that important to us. We had a garden/parking lot view on our last visit and we didn't mind. I just don't understand why the booking descriptions are so confusing. They all say pretty much the same thing and the "Garden View CL" said floors 1-4 too. So confusing, but since you know what your talking about I am going to go with you! Thank you again! We will say hello if we see you there!

I do know that a "water" view can be a pool view, a quiet pool view, or I have heard on this thread that it can even be a fountain view :rotfl:. Disney considers any "water" that you can see from your room, a "water view" room. The Lagoon view would be whatever lake (lagoon/Seven Seas Lagoon for example) your resort is on. I hope that helps.

It is very frustrating. We keep correcting the information on the websites, etc. and they keep getting them wrong.

I agree that most people don't spend very much time in their room. In fact, I never pay for a "view" because I always have the drapes closed since I'm either sleeping or changing clothes when I'm in the room.

I hope to meet you too.

We usually stay at the Yacht, so my mom wants the lagoon view. But I can only find it on the club level, so I was trying to figure out if it was only on the fifth floor or if you could get that view on lower floors. I can't seem to find an answer.

14 days & counting!!!
My husband & I have a res at Chef de France for 9 pm. It is not on an EMH night. What does EPCOT "look like" after closing? Meaning...do people still stroll along or does it go empty pretty much right at 9?
TIA!

Can we bring bottled water into the parks- or do we have to buy it in the parks?

You can bring bottles water and snacks too if you like. Must go through security first though.
If you are going in the summertime, freeze the bottles first, then they stay cool a little longer once in the parks.

You have to book waterview room at YC and request Lakefront. We've had some really nice lakefront waterview rooms at YC.

Haven't been to BC in a cpl years, just wondering if the styrofoam cups with lids are still available in the rooms(from mousekeeping). We usually keep some sodas/juice in our room and was just wondering....:yay:

So we dont have to stay at the Club level?

No - but remember that "lakefront" is a request - waterview could also mean pool view. I would make lakefront your first (and maybe only) request. That's what we did and we lucked out every time. We also were willing to take the 1st floor which apparently a lot of people don't want. We had a great view of the marina, Crescent Lake and the Boardwalk!

Thanks Teena-
How do I find a listing of what's open for the extra hours? or is everything open?

We will look for you to say "hi", we will be at the BCV form 1-22 through 1-29

There is a really great explanation of Extra Magic Hours, and the current attractions that are open, in a Dis Boards Site Update (top of the screen when I log on).

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/earlyentry.htm

There is also a huge wealth of info in the Theme Parks & Attractions Section of the discussion boards.

Hope this link helps. Have a great trip!

Does anyone know if HA rooms are all on the ground floor? We are thinking about staying at the BC and my mother would have an ECV or a wheelchair so we'd request a HA room so she'd have the assistance she needs, but I was just wondering if those rooms are located in a certain part of the resort or on a certain floor or if they are spread out throughout the resort on various floors (in various categories).

They are spread out and in different categories. I strongly suggest if you must have a handicapped room to make your reservation through "special needs" so that you will get the room you need.

Hello all! My DH gave me the go ahead to book a surprise trip with the kids last week. I had planned on booking CBR, but waited too long and there was no availability. So, much to my dismay (:rotfl2:) I was forced to book YC club level. So 3 of our kids and I will be heading to WDW March 13 for a week of fun and hopefully sun! We have never stayed club level before, is there anything specific I need to know and can you point me in the right direction?

I cant wait to be back at the YC, my absolute favorite resort so far. We were there in May for half of our trip, after transferring from the Poly. :goodvibes

I would contact YC IPO asap to get some dining ADRs.

We dealt with BC IPO and they were fabulous.

Have a great time - we love both BC and YC CL!

You might want to check out placing an order w/ Garden Grocer. We did it last year and loved it! Very reasonable and convenient.
