Cape May has added some new items at their dinner buffet. All the oldies are still there but these new items have been added:

Carved Roasted Pork Loin in addition to the carved Top Beef Sirloin / Citrus Couscous Salad / Chicken Arugula Pasta Salad / Tomato Cucumber Mozzarella Salad / Quinoa Shrimp Salad with Hearts of Palm / Green Mussels with Spicy Seaweed Salad / Sautéed Beef Tips with a Gourmet Brandy Cream Sauce / Tortellini with Lobster Sauce / Seafood Pot Pie / Hand-Battered Fried Tilapia or Cod (Sundays and Fridays) / Fried Calamari (Tuesdays and Thursdays) / Fried Shrimp (Mondays Wednesdays and Saturdays) and Kids Fish Nuggets.

Hi! I have stayed at the BC, BCV and YC but a dear friend of mine is taking her 3 kiddos to WDW in March and staying at the YC CL. She has a GV and is asking me all kinds of questions about views, lounge offerings, size of lounge, room locations, etc. I am usually on the GF thread and know a lot about that resort but am feeling a bit uninformed about YC CL.

What kind of rooms can she expect with a GV CL? Does she need to request a daybed or do all the CL rooms have them? Would she be better off trying to change to a water view room? What are the lounge offerings like?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's official! We are staying at BCV December 4-11, 2010! 11 months *sigh* but will be so worth the wait.

I'm reading through as much of this thread as possible. My DH and I have wanted to stay here for a couple years. We are bringing with us our DD and her BF who has never been to Disney.

Thanks to all of you who post your experiences and pictures - it's truly delightful!

Teena, if you have a chance to type in the info for the January rec schedule I would love it. We are heading down for our first bc stay Jan 23-30th can not wait! Of course I understand if is too time consuming. Thanks - hope I get the opportunity to meet you!

I would love the activities list. If you don't want to type the whole things just use your judgment and tell me about things a 7 year old girl would like. This trip is 11 days total so I anticipate resort time.

Every Day: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Open Crafts. Bring your child to the Sandcastle Club where they will have the opportunity to create a different "take-away" craft each day. All ages.

Albatross Treasure Cruise. Little buccaneers sail the high seas to exotic "Ports of Call" along Crescent Lake and Epcot in search of treasure. Pirates must be ages 4 to 12. 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. $34 per child, plus tax. For reservations call 407-WDW-DINE or visit Concierge. Space is limited.

Sundays:
1:15 - 2:00 PM Do You Know Your TV Jingles? Join us on the pool deck to showcase your TV knowledge. How well do you know your favorite shows from the past and present? All ages welcome!
2:00 - 3:00 PM Stormalong Bay Pool Party. Follow the music on the pool deck to this party. Pool games and music for all ages.
3:00 - 4:00 PM Bingo. Are you feelin' lucky? Join us for Bingo. Located on the Stormalong Bay pool deck. $1 per card, per game. Prizes are awarded to the winners. All ages.
