I was sad to see Asia'h go, she seemed like a nice girl. I wanted it to be Amanda leaving.

I miss "hanging out" with all of you on Thursday nights... (cue the sitcom "awwws"...)

Anyway, here's some rambling thoughts about tonight.

- No shock that Kady and Luke went home. As you know, I wanted Kady to go on (solely based on her voice, mind you ), but I knew she was heading home tonight (and that performance tonight was awful). As for Luke, I thought he actually sounded pretty good tonight. There's just something about his voice that didn't quite click with me.

- Asia'h over Kristy was a bit of a shocker, but I knew that Asia'h's song choice was the nail in her coffin last night...in this day and age, that song is too cheesy to sing decently. While I didn't care for the raspy voice, I really enjoyed her personality. Kristy's just a dud to me. Still, I'm not overly disappointed with Asia'h going home.

-I hate to say this, but I'm gonna miss Danny. He had a much better voice than Sanjaya and he was much more amusing to watch. As far as Chikezie sticking around, I'm actually okay with it. I think that he's got talent, but he hasn't shown it yet...maybe.

Overall, I think I'm enjoying this season a bit more than most of you. I'm actually a fan of the Davids Cook and Archuleta, Jason Castro, Carly Smithson, Brooke White, and Syesha Mercado. I'm not sure I've ever liked that many people in a season before. Granted, I'm not loving any of these folks yet, but they've each impressed me in their own way.

I, for one, am looking forward to this season's Top 12...

After seeing the recap clips last night I think that Asia'h was the right pick. Her voice is too raspy and if you listen she takes breaths in the wrong spots. I just don't think she has the stamina to make it. I totally agree that Kristy is forgettable though. I wasn't surprised by any of the vote-offs.

Asia'h is cute and spunky. I can see her ending up in a Disney show.

Come on Robin thats unfair.....Country is the most popular music in America...its not a plant....Good country and a good country singer is better than any music you can find in any genre...

I'm 99% thrilled about last night's results. The best part was having Chikesie stay! Yeah, Danny was fun but it's time to get somewhat serious. Unlike a lot of you here, I think Chikesie will be around for a few weeks. Apparently there are more than a few people watching this show who love his soulful voice.

The only disappointment for me was keeping cute little Ramiele over Asia'h. Maybe Asia'h wasn't quite a cute or little but she could sing a heck of a lot better.

Awww. Mr Tomato is gone. I'm so sad. ISH.

If it was all to end today, based on singing and stage presence (not necessarily my favorite personalities), this would be my top 5.

1. Too close to call... David Archuleta and David Hernandez

I think it was because Ramiele has much more talent than Asia'h, though she hasn't shown that in the last couple of weeks.

Dan, Dan... do you think that AI actually USES these votes? Nigel and the PTB have final decision on who goes thru, NOT America. They have their picks set already.

There is no true measure of these votes so I won't believe it until they prove it. AI is a money making machine and it lives by it's own rules. They know that country is popular and they needed those ratings.

My Mother was a BIG country fan, ever since Patsy Cline. I admit, I do like SOME country artists, like Wynnona Judd and Randy Travis. My mother listened to nothing but! Taste is taste and everyone has their own, it's not good or bad or ignorance, just choice.
