I am really upset at the songs that were picked for 80's week... I really wanted some fun, dance, upbeat songs and didn't get it.

Exactly, and Celine murdered it. She seems to redo popular songs then everyone associates it with her. I find her to be truly evil.

I think Kristy's song could be a popular country song, but as a person who can't stand country, I can't say it'd be a good country song because that's an oxymoron.

(BTW - another former freak here, but in my day we called it new wave.)

I'm not a country fan either but I think it'd do well as a country remake.

There is something about Brooke that I don't like but I can't pinpoint it. She just seems plain...her voice doesn't interest me.

Maybe she is going to sing everyone to sleep on the battlefield?

you know, i like this song a lot, but Brooke is not really doing anything with it for me. this song is supposed to be upbeat and angry....and she's just sitting there....it was boring. her voice is ok. but it just.....i think it was a bad song choice.

It was drab and boring. Too acoustic. And was it just me or did the guitar guy just only do about 2-3 chords repeated over and over during the whole song? He stunk. He should hand over his right to play guitar and go back to doing something else.... Like picking out Simon's shirt to wear that night....

I think the judges are very distracting to the singers. Tonight they acted worse than usual. This season I'm really sick of Simon. I agree with alot of what he says but he has really been a jerk. Paula is just nuts! Why they keep her I do not know?

Sorry watching basketball and had to work...the guy in my Sig had his senior night tonight so I was watching that... Basketball always comes first....I am at work now catching up I will watch the girls when I get home tomorrow....I already know Kady is hot if she can sing or not I dont care...

Honestly I don't know who will go tomorrow. I think I like Amanda the best tonight. I'm a big Joan Jett fan, so I was happy to hear one of her songs. I just wonder if Amanda took too long to have a good night. She may be one of the ones to go.

My dvd from tonight stopped recording right before Syesha's performance, so I saw everyone but her. I will probably watch it on youtube tomorrow.

Anyways, I thought this week was definitely the best week for the guys and girls. I actually enjoyed most of the performances tonight.

One person I totally don't get is Brooke. For me, I thought her past two performances were very boring and blah, but yet Simon absolutely loved her both weeks! She's not bad, just boring. My mom and I were just scratching our heads over that.

Anyways, here's who I think the top 6 guys and top 6 girls should be in order:

Yeah thats DJ White. He plays for Indiana obviously. He will be a 1st round draft pick in the upcoming NBA draft this summer. We went to see him play in Feb. amazing amazing time. We got in on his passes and is a good friend of the family. Just had to watch him even over the Blondes....

Basketball was always my first love even over my Blonde wife....

I loved basketball in HS where I was a pretty good player and had offers to play college but didnt take any. Ended up just going to Clemson. Funny when you say you settled for Clemson....LOL...Major university and I settled for it....

My DH is a huge IU fan since that is where he went to school. He just finished watching IU beat Minnesota. Of course I watched American Idol while he was watching basketball.
