Tonight was meh. I think I actually liked Carly best. The only other person I care about staying is Amanda, because although I don't like the song she sang tonight, I'm interested to see what she'll do in the coming weeks when the themes get more specific. I like her.
I think Kady is going to go home...and maybe Kristy Lee?

Blake Lewis tomorrow - awesome!! I liked him last season. Although I didn't buy his album A.D.D., because I listened to all the songs on Amazon and nothing really grabbed me.

I've liked Brooke from the start and I enjoyed that version of the song
(and I love Pat Benetar).

The judges always say "make the song your own" and she did just that.

DH is a big Queen fan, and a big Highlander fan.
He was appalled at Kady's "version" of who wants to live forever.
It is such a haunting song when Queen does it.... Kady's haunts in another way... She killed it

It should be interesting to see who goes tomorrow.
We have wanted to like Amanda since the auditions, and tonight is the first time we have been glad that she has stuck around. I don't want her to win, but her performace this week gives her another week for us. (last week was awful)
We like Syesha, but she has become sort of boring. I don't love Whitney Huston, but at least Asia'h picked an upbeat song.
I'm glad Brooke didn't pick up the pace on her song. I was trying to figure out how she would get up gracefully onto the stage if she decided to up the tempo. (I was so distracted by this that I didn't pay much attention to the singing.)
ALL of the judges were drinking from Paula's special cup by the end of the night.... What was up with that??

My words exactly as she was singing it. It is haunting to know that Freddie Mercury died a few years after that song was sung in the eighties. She ruined it immensely!!!!!
