I think the 3 Davids and Chikezie were the best. They could start a band by that name.....3 Davids and Chikezie!

David A did okay, but it seems a bit of a cop out that he skipped the opening lines "Imagine there's no heaven". What especially seemed a cop out was his response to Randy's question about skipping the lines saying the 3rd was his favorite.

Okay, David, you're a Mormon. That's fine. If you want to skip the line for religious reasons, that's fine. At least admit it instead of being afraid of alienating people.

Sorry no WOW out of the guys tonight....

Bring on the girls....Only thing I had to look at tonight was Noriega...

Did I just say that?????........OMG

are you saying none of their looks "WOW"ed you, or their performances??

I thought it was kinda sucky that Randy asked that question. I'm sure he knew darn well why he didn't sing it.

Wife: "I didn't think Yoko was letting anyone have rights to perform that song."
Blake Lewis sang it last season, I think on that episode that they did to benefit world hunger, and didn't vote anyone off.

I think it's sweet - shows his innocence.

Innocence....HA...17 years old he knows exactly what he is doing....but he is smart in doing it...I think....When I was 17 well lets just say I knew how to play people and girls...Player....:rotfl:

Seriously, tears? That's a bit much.

Music moves me. I've never been to a Broadway show where I haven't absolutely SOBBED, and I can't control it. I love "Imagine", love John Lennon (I was suspended in High school for putting the flag at half staff when he was killed), I didn't want to hear David A. sing it (and potentially ruin it). So I sat there, expecting not to like it, and the tears started.

It was a powerful performance by a brilliantly gifted young man.

ITA, he should have admitted to why he skipped the lines instead of ignoring avoiding the question. is he ashamed of it or something??
