Week Two – The Guys – Wrap-Up
The 70s theme has the potential for being awful…
Michael Johns – Go Your Own Way – Ouch…I’m a big Fleetwood Mac fan, but there were many, many wrong notes there. I thought that was pretty awful.
Jason Castro -- I Just Want to Be Your Everything – Not familiar with this BeeGees song, but I’m now officially a fan of Jason Castro. I enjoyed that one.
Luke Menard – Killer Queen – Much better than last week, but he lacks a presence onstage. It was a tough song, but Simon nailed it – he lacks charisma and shows big time when he “performs.”
Robbie Carrico – Hot-Blooded – I despise this song, but I’m surprised that two weeks in a row, I’ve kinda like Robbie. I tend to agree with the judges that he’s not really a rocker. Like Luke, he was boring to watch, but his voice was pretty good.
Danny Noriega -- Superstar – I mean, I guess he wasn’t awful…yeah…that’s all I’m saying about him…
David Hernandez – Papa Was a Rolling Stone – Hate this song…didn’t really like the performance either. He was probably okay, but once I heard the song, I kinda zoned out. (After watching the replay, he wasn’t that bad…)
Jason Yeager – Without You – Vocal-wise, he was decent, but he is one of the worst performers on Idol. That being said, he makes me laugh when I watch him…Vote for the Worst should’ve chosen him ‘cause I think he’s a hoot. Cheese-fest!
Chikezie – I Believe – Better than last week, that’s for sure. I don’t really care for him, though, for some reason. He showed some promise in the initial audition that they showed, but he hasn’t made good on what he first showed.
David Cook – All Right Now – I didn’t think David was great last week, but I enjoyed his performance a lot this week. His vocals sounded much stronger than last time. Plus, I like crossword puzzles, too! Word Nerds Unite (for this week, anyway)!
David Archuleta -- Imagine – I can do without the screaming legions of pre-pubescent girls, but David A’s really good. That was an Idol performance I’ve been waiting for all season.

I’d love to see Michael Johns go, but he’s here for a while…I guess I predict that Jason Yeager and Robbie Carrico get the boot…
