Chikezie was a disappointment. I liked the audition clips I saw of him online, but I don't think he hit a right note in the first 30 seconds.

I'm not even crazy about themes during the final 12, now they are extending them out even longer. Let's see if they make up some original ones this year!

I hope they do Latin week...I usually find that one pretty entertaining.
I also like Country week because I like Country music, but not everyone's suited for that genre, so some usually do bad that week. On the other hand, some really find their niche in Country, like Phil Stacey and Josh Gracin.

I liked in season 2 when they did the movie themes night. I loved Ruben's "A Whole New World." I wouldn't have minded if they had taken a break from the 60's night this season...I usually find that week to be boring, but that's only my opinion.

What other themes would you like to see on American Idol?

That week was just on Idol Rewind this week. I loved him singing that song.

Yeah, I caught that episode about halfway or so through. That was one of my favorite episodes that season. I also liked his version of "Sweet Home Alabama" from a different week.

So far I don't think anyone has been that impressive, but I did somewhat like David Cook's performance.

I'm reserving judgement on David. I remember the original of that song and it sure didn't sound like that.

we'll see if he makes it through another week and does something else, I just don't see him as being able to sing more than 1 type of song so everything he does will be "rocked out" a bit.

Anyone else annoyed that they aren't announcing the song titles? I'm sorry, but I want to know the name of the song. It's not enought to know that it's a song from the 60's..

I know Simon hated it when they did musicals, but I think it was the song selection. I think there are some fantastic songs that they could choose if they did musicals again.

I also like it when they have to choose a song from the year they're born.
