Thank you for the wonderful photos! Now, if someone who stayed there this weekend would post and tell us all about the new renovations! I would LOVE to hear about that!

Im so excited, we are going May 5-11th (just convinced DH to add a day-Yeah!)

I have requested a King, River View, Building 2. Can I be more specific? LOL!

I too have heard this is a smaller resort and I am looking forward to that- CBR was just too big for me.

April is gonna seem like the longest month ever!!!

Any more photos?
How about inside a room?

Yes, all of building 4 is smoking. But as the building was recently renovated, the rooms may not have that smoky odor. If you don't want to chance it, how about building 7? Not too far from the bus stop. Actually, nothing really is because the resort is so small.

Hope this helps!

I'm a little confused. The 2004 Passporter shows that only building 2 and the third floor of building 6 are smoking. Is it possible there was a change in this along with the renovations?

I'd like pics of the rehabbed king rooms if any of you can get them when you go!

The Passporter may be right. I'm trying to gather information, so some of mine might be outdated. I'm going to try toverify which buildings are smoking.

You did a wonderful job! I love the photos and i can just see myself walking around the resort and sliding ino the pool right now :D

Now I'm really excited about going back to POFQ

I'll be checking in four weeks from today!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I'm really excited about staying at this resort. Our plans are for this WDW visit to be a bit more on the relaxing side, and I think this location will be just the ticket. I love traveling by boat whenever possible (just to slow things down and relax) so I'm glad to have the opportunity to float to Downtown Disney!

My question is, where in DTD is the boat dock?

Morning Everyone,
Just checking in as I ponder whether or not checking in has begun at POFQ? Wish I was there right now and I can't wait until it's my turn! :hyper: ::yes:: :hyper:

Oh good grief, I'm excited but I'm not THAT excited. Please excuse the forum faux pas, I tried to delete the extra messages but I couldn't. Don't know what I did wrong but I'll try not to let it happen again. Yup, that's my story and I'm stickin to it.

I am currently trying to decide between the moderates for a trip at the end of May. I have stayed at POFQ before (although it was 10 years ago,) but the new room renovations look beautiful! For those of you who have just returned frrom staying there after the renovations, I'm wondering if any of the following have changed...
1. Does POFQ still share bus transportation to the parks with POR?
2. Someone had mentioned on here that the boats from POFQ no longer go straight to DTD, they pick up at POR first. Any truth to this?

Taking boyfriend (hoping to be fiance' when we return :teeth: ) for his frist trip and I want everything to be as PERFECT as possible for what we can afford :D

ibouncetoo- i'll be checking into POFQ 4 weeks from today too:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc i can hardly wait for those who are checking in today to get home and give us their reports LOL.

My DH and I decided to split our stay between POFQ and YC this coming May, and I have a few questions about POFQ-
1) We booked a king bed, are all king bed rooms water view rooms?
2) Does POFQ and POR share busses?

Thanks-can't wait!:hyper:

Before the renovation, POFQ and POR shared buses. It'll probably be the same after the renovation.

The DTD boat will most likely be again stopping at both POR and POFQ. This is what they did before.

Honestly, when i called to switch from POP to a moderate because of the great Visa Rate, I wasn't very happy about POFQ being the only mod available.....all of us are not the laid back type..but after reading all the posts on FQ and it just having gone through rehab we are REALLY REALLY excited about staying there in a few weeks!! I know my step-mom and sis will love it..just hope the kids (16, 15, 12, 8) will enjoy it!! Heck their going to WDW..what's not to enjoy!!!

My DH and I will be going to POFQ in May, and I have been thinking about all the people who will be sleeping in the NEW POFQ tonight!!! I can't wait until they post their messages and pictures!!

I can't wait until my trip!

Thanks for this thread. Good job.

I am thinking this resort is just right for my dd and her gf (college age)

Although we have been to DW a number of times, this will be our first stay on property. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I was a little hesitant to stay at POFQ, but thanks to all the posts I can't wait to get there and see the new renovations!

Hopefully the pics will be posted and questions will all be answered real soon. ::yes::

We go in 2 weeks!

Looking at the photos, it appears that there is a hairdryer by the sinks. Didn't used to be. Yea! I also like the privacy curtain. That's a nice touch.
