The 10 cent print sale is back at Walgreens!

Just wanted to let folks know that Walgreens is having its 10 cent prints sale again. The coupon code is "hearnews". They also have 5 x 7 prints for $1 each if you order two or more. I just ordered over 500 prints from our 2005 DL trip ! But at least I didn't overpay!

Last time I placed a large order with Shutterfly I feel like I got ripped off on the shipping. A regular mailer envelope cost over $18 in shipping charges. At least with Walgreens I don't pay for the shipping and I don't have to buy a "prepaid print plan" to get the 10 cent prints like I do with Shutterfly.

I have to say I was disspointed in mine... they were really thin crappy paper. I was really dissapointed.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed in the photo quality. The last time they had this special, in March, was the first time I had ordered from Walgreens and I was quite happy with the quality. Maybe different Walgreens use different paper??

If I was disappointed with the quality I would take the photos right back and go back to using Shutterfly. Even though I complain about the shipping, their photo quality has always been GREAT.....................P

I have been happy at Walgreen's, but I think you are right. Each individual store processes the photos so it stands to reason that some stores do a better job than others. I would think that they would all use the same supplies.

Maybe the poster could stop by a different store and ask to see a sample photo? Or like you said, place the order and if it is not good, refuse or return it.
