We have been making plans for our summer vacation and finally had decided on a place where to stay. We wanted to rent a two bedroom apartment at an inn for an entire week in July and fortunately it was available. Then I was asked how many guests will be staying, I said 5.
Wrong answer!!!!!!
Apparently the owner (privately owned inn) doesn't allow more than 4 persons per room/apartment, etc. Their studios, which are small, allow 4 per room, but their two bedroom apartment doesn't.
I realize that it's the owner's prerogative to set the policies, but it doesn't make much sense to me. Then I was offered adjoining studios, which I'm not interested in. Well, that's what I get for being honest.
I have been looking for accomodations for a while and this place looked lovely. I guess it wasn't meant to be. Oh well, the search goes on...

I just can't believe that they wouldn't be okay with 2 adults and 3 kids there. Good luck finding a new place, Rita.
