I feel your pain!!! I don't get it so much anymore, but in my mid to late 20's I had to constantly tell people my age! Once I was at Sam's club when I was REALLY, REALLY pg with Finn. He was 10 lbs and I was 8.5 months pregnant. I looked like a 24/7 emergency. Anyway, my nieces were in town and they were walking on either side of the cart chatting away with me. Sophie was in the large basket part (yes, I know, she doesn't belong in there) and Ethan was in the seat part. I looked VERY young. And it looked like I had 4 kids and was about to pop out my 5th. I literally stopped dead in my tracks and looked around and there was a couple staring at me. Then I looked the other way and someone was actually POINTING!To top it all off, everyone else deserted me, so I looked like I was quite possible single. Normally I would have been mortified, but it was really funny. I'm sure I would have been whispering to Scott in the same situation. I just smiled and then I rubbed my belly. My family found it quite amusing as well.
It's when it STOPS happening that you feel bad.
I've stopped getting carded for R rated movies (at least the 1 I've been to in the past several years!). Take some comfort in the fact that we'll look really good when we're 40!
I understand what you mean about the hair, it's a struggle to keep it under control at WDW. Ponytails are convienent, but unless want to take your hair down during a ride and then redo it once the ride's complete, it is a pain.
Sorry the security guard thought you were a teenager, I know it can become frustrating after awhile. I had to pick up my brother from high school one day, and the secretary mistook me for a student (I am just shy of 21). Hopefully, you didn't get too much more of that on your trip.
Too funny!I agree that pigtails are the way to go. I love that I teach little kids and can still wear them to work. I wonder what would have happened if you said they weren't your kids. Would they have turned you away?
Oooh! Can't wait to hear about the new trade!! Great update. Love seeing pics of the boys all cozily bundled up in the stroller![]()
Okay...so...what is it? It's a small world? I can't think of anything else!

Chocolate croissant...that sounds delicious...but then again so did the red velvet cupcake....![]()
Cute pics...they look so cosy all bundled up!!!
Okay...so...what is it? It's a small world? I can't think of anything else!
We did the same "no way in heck am I waiting through this" move at GMR in May. The posted wait time was 20 min., but it was obviously taking more time than that and the girls were getting antsy. We bailed. Plus, the only movie they would recognize would be Mary Poppins, and that's not a huge scene or anything. At least we know our kids' limits.
I've gotta say, it's so funny seeing your kids bundled up at WDW, mostly because I've never been when it's anywhere near cold!! It's unimaginable to me! I'm thinking we need a middle of winter trip so FL can prove it can be cold.

I found it online as part of the Cutesters series- Nested Doll. I guess that could be from It's a Small World.Sometimes I wish the Vinylmations came with an explanation of the artist's intent.
I love your TR, thank you for sharing all your memories with us ! I particularly love TR from people who have small kids, its ALWAYS an adventure huh?![]()
Cant wait for more
Hi! I'm glad you enjoy my TR! Traveling with small kids is definitely an adventure. We've had quite a few adventures with our boys so far. Thanks for reading!
Mmmm those cupcakes at Starring Roles sound so good! I always forget about them when I'm there, I would have tried one, even if it was early in the morning!
Cute Vinylmation...I was thinking it's from It's a Small world also!
I never forget the cupcakes at Starring Rolls!I think they are always in the back of my mind at DHS. You know, if there's time later...
Small World or not, it was a big improvement over the white eyeball one.
All caught up again
Looking at the kids all bundle up reminds me of our trip in Dec and I will never complain about the heat again when we go in the summer. Doesn't the cold seem to suck the energy out of every ride decision?I just hated unloading them from the stroller when they were all nice and toasty.
I have never been to Earl of Sandwich when it has not been packed like that, but luckily when we have gone we just eat outside. The place is just always hoppin.
Too bad you didn't get to take them on the Movie Ride. DH insists that we must go on that ride every trip.
And ITA with the others it definatly reminds me of a small world.
I agree about never complaining about the heat again! The cold weather did make it kind of hard with the boys. Sometimes, it really just didn't seem worth it to take them out of the stroller and onto a ride. We are planning on not going back in the winter til they are no longer of a stroller age.
I think eating outside at EOS would be much more pleasant. Or even better, getting sandwiches to take back to the room. Maybe that's what we should have done that night.
I do like the GMR. When I was younger, I actually decided to go out and watch all of the movies featured on the GMR, so I'd know them all. I've seen them all, except for Footlight Parade, which I can't find anywhere.Maybe it's too old.
Guess it's unanimous! My Small World Vinylmation was pretty cute.![]()
Starring Rolls is such a great place to sit for coffee! I love its location being right there on the corner!
I hate that you guys felt so tied down at HS. I think it must be a harder park to tour with the little ones- especially in a stroller! The playground might have been a fun diversion- did you ever get to it?
Did you try rider swap for the kids at ToT or RnRC??
