We're going to WDW.

I've set the date - April 16th 2015.

Easter is right at the start of the month so I'm hoping it'll be pretty quiet.

Saving has started. :) We kept umming and ahhing over maybe going to DLRP soon but we didn't feel much magic lastly trip and it always works out at least £900 which would pay for a big chunk of WDW.

It's ages away but I'm sure I'll be kept very busy and it'll fly past.

That's great news :) how old will your little princess be? Will be fun planning her first trip.

You certainly will have your hands full, I couldn't believe how quickly Megan's first year flew by. Charlie's seems to be going just as quickly but it's such a great time. :)

Always feels good to have a plan and I also like the period after Easter. Good combination of manageable crowds and nice weather :)

Thanks everyone :)

Laura - as long as she's not more than 10 days early she'll be very almost 2. If she is earlier than that then we'll have to re-adjust the dates a bit so we fly back before her birthday.

Pootle - great to hear you like that time of year. We really liked the F&GF last time, so will be lovely to see that again hopefully. :)

I reckon it'll go really quick. We booked 18 months in advance for our holiday this September. I can't believe it's now 6 months away.

Enjoy the planning! Its going to be so great her 1st trip.

We are planning 2015 too but not got a date yet. Probably later in the year. My little princess will be 3 then. We had planned on going this year but i don't feel ready to take her yet so young (she's 8 months now). I did think about dlrp too but for some reason not feeling it at all so saving extra for wdw.

I don't want the time to go fast though.. My baby girl growing up far to quickly as it is :-)

Sounds fab! What are your plans for accommodation etc?

:)

We're hoping to stay at AKL again. We love it so much.

Food plans include Kona Cafe for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Not in one day - Lol.

I keep saying I want the pineapple macadamia pancakes - to which Jack will reply "but when can I have my fish taco?" to which I reply "we'll go for lunch too" to which Jack replies "But I want the shrimp and scallops too!"

So 3 trips to Kona it is! Lol.

Also on the plans are Narcoosees, Boma, Garden Grill, 'Ohana breakfast and dinner (we should stay at the Poly really!) and probably some princess meals as we've never done them before but chances are we'll have a princess fan.

How exciting for so many reasons and seeing Disney World from your little Princess' eyes will be beyond magical!! :goodvibes

The planning is all part of the fun too of course!! Our next WDW trip is likely to be 2015 also - and similar to you are hoping to stay at AKL but will have lots of dining ressies to make at the Poly!

I am going April 15th this year and had the same theory that Easter was early so it shouldn't be too busy! It is my first ever trip to I hope it is all I dream it will be! Enjoy all your trip planning :)

Happy planning! I prefer to think about the date when I can actually book - I've worked out that I will be able to book at the end of 2014. It makes the wait a little easier.;)

Rachel thats great news.Cant believe how the time flys. I have always gone sept oct nov and dec but like you are going after easter this year. We fly on the 9th till the 23rd April. AKL has been my favorite resort so far but as I have a lot of memories from my deceased partner I am going to my new dvc home of wilderness lodge.Throwing a few days at BLT as well.
Im already thinking of the next trip and may be joining you if we like it this time.Never been in april but hope the weather is nice and the crowds are managable.
Im still toying with what to pack:confused3 3/4 trousers /shorts depending on the weather.
Look forward to reading your updates and plans. Will be so magical seeing it through your little ones eyes.

That's such great news Torsie :goodvibes Your count down will fly by with a new little princess in the house. You will in all likelihood lose perception of time for a good while (can't promise it ever fully returns to normal :rotfl2:) so you'll probably be glad of the extra time for planning and juggling new routines and excitement at home.

I totally understand your reasoning on the DLP trip. We thought since we are skipping this year at WDW (or so we have planned) we might do a short Europe break in the summer, but whenever I look at the cost for a 'small break' all I can think is how much nicer it would be to add that money to our next trip.
