THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!!! The Incredible(s) Trip to Disney

Oh, I'm so excited for you!!!:goodvibes

I love the shirts, too, and it seems like everything's coming together.:thumbsup2

Despite my previous rantings, it really is all coming together. I have all my info copied into my PassPorter and it'll be hard, actually, to really forget something major!

You and your listy ways! I am so proud.

Can I say I am very jealous that you are staying at POR. I really can't wait to hear all about it because that is where I am staying next time!

Sounds like the whole family is getting excited!

Ah yes, the lists.... amazing how handy they are!! :rotfl: Ok, you win.

Lists rock!

We are all very excited, and I cannot wait to tell you all about POR! :lovestruc It is such an awesome resort, I can't say enough good about it.

I am totally beaming!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I'm not trying to hijack here, but I just wanted to share with you some of my other favorite ICHC "noms", as I now think of you whenever I see them:

......ICHC Hijack Complete. ;)

I am a total ICHC fan and try to visit the site at least once every day. LOVE these pics you posted!

Lego I love your shirts! I think planning on doing laundry is a very good idea. I usually overpack thinking if I run out then i could do laundry. I also have never heard of using the mnm mini tube for change. That is a fabulous idea!! :thumbsup2 :dance3:

The mini-M&M tubes are so great for quarters! You can use 'em for laundry money or the pressed penny machines, as mentioned. Or just any assortment of loose change that you want all in one place! :upsidedow

And yep, that's a tip I gleaned from right here on the DIS for our last trip!

Ya, I finally caught up on your PTR!!!

Oh good!....and just in time for the next installment!! :rotfl:

Coming over!!! Only 18 days left!!! I am sooo excited!!!!:goodvibes

Me TOO!.....woo-hoo!! :cool1:

You know, whenever I feel like I'm missing something, I just thumb through the trip binder. It really helps me, in your case, it would be the PassPorter. It helps to have everything in one place. :thumbsup2

I am just all kinds of excited today....

Can I just say that the anticipation of an upcoming trip is SO cool.
(<--------I am editing this to add that I am also all kinds of excited over my new scrolling tag!!!) :goodvibes
Kewl, even!

I am totally savoring the excitement of these last few weeks. I'll be starting the actual packing any day now. The Drawer is getting full! Time to transfer all that stuff to its traveling compartment.

Today I filled in and printed out our Vacation at a Glance worksheet. I'll leave copies of these with family.

So my MIL can call me while I'm riding the WEDWay, or enjoying Wishes!, or just taking a cruise on the monorail! No, actually, I should be the one to call her....since she's done that to me in the past....:rolleyes1

Nothing like calling the person-left-at-home from one of her favorite rides in all the World!! :lmao:

And we have yet another change of plans and ADR to report!!!

So I mentioned in a previous post how we decided to do MK on the Sunday, to take advantage of the evening EMH. Got our ADR that day switched to Kona Cafe for a late breakfast. Good to go.

Then, I started thinking again.

"Not good!"....to quote a famous pirate.

It went something like this:

*Since we are doing MK on Sunday, we'll be in Epcot on Monday.
*It's our last full day.
*And since it's Epcot, and because we'll be out late at MK the night before, we can sleep in and arrive there around noon and still have a full day.
*Hmm....I'm bettin' we'll all be pretty tired at this point.
*Do we want to have to trek over to the Contemporary to Chef Mickey's for dinner??
*I'm guessing that's a big NO!

So, one more e-mail off to Shirley at Dreams Unlimited (the woman's a saint - she's got to be!!) and voila!....we now have:

Dinner at Biergarten!!

I'm ALL kinds of excited over that. The food is "ok" but we love the show! When I asked the boys if they enjoyed eating there the last time, the answer was a resounding and unanimous "Yes!!" So, when I told them we would be eating there again this trip, they were all kinds of excited! DH's family is German on his mom's side, so this place is always a hit with him.

As is the full pint of ale, but I digress...

Tiki tiki tiki tiki - oi oi oi!

Bob: Want to catch a robber?
Lucius: No. To tell you the truth, I'd rather go bowling. Look, what if we actually did what our wives think we're doing... just to shake things up?

.

Oh good for you! About Biergarten! And getting excited about your trip.

You had me seriously scared, though. You go to talking about changes and I thought oh no! TK's not going to meet LegoMom3! :lmao:

And then you revealed your plans. Phew!

My brainwashing is almost complete! Muhahahahahaha!

And 6 for me. I don't mean to rub it in. :sad2: But I'm sooo excited. :woohoo:

But guess where I live? Southern, Southern Louisiana.

Guess what is headed our way? Hurricane Gustav.

Quess who is really upset right now? ME!!!!!

I will not let this mess up our long awaited vacation!

OK, I'm done now. Thanks for listening. ;) I'll be looking for ya'll soon!!!! I WILL!!

It's starting to sound like you are just about ready to go. I do hope this trip is....EVERYTHING!! :goodvibes

No fear, my dear.... If YOU are going to be at MK on the 14th and I am going to be at MK on the 14th, we WILL meet! Somehow, somewhere! It's too good a chance to miss.

Wow.....me??!! That is kewl!

I know you're all kinds of busy with packing but we miss you on the 328 threads that we all share! :rotfl: Come by when you can.

Oh Wannabe I am sending SO many prayers out your way!!! I've been watching the National Hurrican Center web site to keep tabs on any developing stuff and I did see this pesky thing down there. Won't affect me but ANY storm heading for southern LA is NOT good news. As of last night it was still too soon to say what it will do, so let's hope and pray it fizzles out over southern Cuba (a possibility).

Tell me again what time your ADR is at WCC?? I want to make sure we linger long enough to try to catch you on our way out! :goodvibes

It's starting to sound like you are just about ready to go. I do hope this trip is....EVERYTHING!! :goodvibes

Me too, Smiley, me too! :cloud9:

Stay tuned for an update! I hope to have one up later today, for the official 10-day countdown!! :woohoo:

.

**Disclaimer: the use of the word 'babnana' is correct and not a typo**A banana is something you eat....a 'babnana' is this fellow here and all similar incarnations therein**

Join me, won't you, in a Happy Babnana 10-Day Dance?

Now, it would seem to make sense that I would have 10 dancing babnanas up there, this being the 10-day mark and all. But, if I start with 10 babnanas, and count down, then there will only be one little lonely babnana on the day before we leave.

Unthinkable.

So, if I start with one babnana, and count up, then there will be TEN happy dancing babnanas on the day before we leave, which, emotionally, is far more in tune with how I'll be feeling!! :rotfl:

I was SO hoping to have my final intinerary from Dreams Unlimited ready today. Shirley told me she finalized them at the 10-day mark. Which is today.

Alas, no Final Itinerary.... :sad2:

But, so as not to end an intstallment on a low note, I am going to follow the lead of Lady Lallie et al and LIST our plans for our trip!

Day 1 - Arrival Day

*Up at 6:00am, finish last-minute packing.
*Kids up by 7:00am; get dressed, eat breakfast.
*Head for the airport at 8:00am!
*Arrive Orlando at 2:00pm. Magical Express to Port Orleans Riverside...
*Be checking in by 4:00pm; room ready!
*Take a vote: either a) skip the parks today and just relax at the pool; have dinner at the food court, or b) head to the Studios which is having EMH this evening; eat at the park.

Incredible Quote:
Helen: [picking something off Bob's shoulder] Is this rubble?
Bob: [mouth is full of a huge piece of cake] It was just a little workout, just to stay loose.
Helen: You know how I feel about that, Bob, darn you, we can't blow cover again!
Bob: The building was coming down anyway.
Helen: *What*? You knocked down a building?
Bob: It was on fire. Structurally unsound. It was coming down anyway.
Helen: Tell me you haven't been listening to the police scanner again...

And... it is a super great reason why I should use my WW points to eat the candy inside... SO I CAN PACK MY CHANGE!

I think I will get the lime green container one ...

or two....

One for each kid??????????

Great idea! Thanks Lego.

Allow me to offer up ONE of these...

for your ten day dance! ;)

How exciting!

I have a cute little story to share with you and I hope you don't mind.

Tonight, DS wanted to watch a movie. I told him to watch The Incredibles. Ever since LL was discussing it last night, I've got it on the brain. He tried to protest (we all know the power of repetition and aversion to anything new that plagues the three year old psyche) but I insisted.

Well, of course he loved it.

And at the end, perfectly imitated the little boy...

"THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!!!!"

And I thought of you. And asked DS, "Did you like The Incredibles?"

"Yeah!"

"That was totally wicked?"

"THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!!!" with arms in the air and everything. :goodvibes

Lime green! I'm gonna have to look for that one!!

Hooray for 10 days! Hooray for the happy babnanas!

Have you packed yet, young lady?

I've started packing!...I've started!! I don't have an entire separate wardrobe just for vacation, so we're wearing most of what we'll be packing these days. But yes, it's begun! :thumbsup2

That is the BEST!!! Maybe I'll have us all wear our Incredibles shirts again to the MK on the 14th...!

All right, Miss Bossy (in my best Dory impression). DH thinks I'm crazy. (I know I am for starting this early)

As far as your arrival day goes, I'd take it easy at the pool/in the food court that day.
