Since the focus here thus far has largely been food, I thought I'd mix it up a bit and toss in some touring plans. Who doesn't like talking about the parks and all their wonder!?
I'm a person who always likes to leave room for a change of plans, but you've gotta have
some sense of planning to make the most of your Disney vacation!
Our plans look a little something like this:
Day 1 - Arrival Day!
Our plane lands at 2:00pm, so I would expect to be checking into POR by 4:00. I also expect our room to be ready, so after getting settled and a quick change, it's off to Ol' Man Island and some swimming! Well, the guys will all swim... I plan to pull up a chair and just sit and soak up the Florida sunshine and Disney atmostphere. When dinner calls, we'll do a CS at the Riverside Mill food court, and turn in before it gets too late so we're ready for our first full day!
Day 2 - Epcot
It's EMH this morning at Epcot, and I'd like to be there for opening. Not an impossible task, just requires some diligence in setting the alarm and getting out to catch a bus by 7:15am. I've never seen an Epcot opening, so I'm looking forward to it! And, if my family sleeps in like last time, I
will head out without them and let them catch up later!! The very first thing I want to do is see the "new" Spaceship Earth. I'm afraid, because I loved its last incarnation, but at the same time I can't just stop riding it! Then I think we'll catch the headliners next - Soarin', Test Track, and Mission Space for whoever wants to do that (not the LegoMom....nuh-uh, no way). Then we'll head for the countries at 11:00. I want to go
all the way around this time, not just see Cananda and Mexico....

If we can start that at 11:00, we should make it, since our dinner is at 5:45 at the WL.
Oh carp....when I think about that now, I realize how much time it's really gonna take to get from Mexico (last country) to the bus stop (nearly a mile, at least!) and then on over to WL....
Well, we should still have time for most of the countries. And whatever we miss can be hit on our 2nd Epcot day.
Dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe, and then we will probably call it a day and head back to POR for a swim before bed.
Day 3 - Disney Hollywood Studios
Regular day here. No EMH, no tight schedule. Should be a fun day. I, for one, am heading straight to Mickey Avenue and the Animation Courtyard! I'm not spending the majority of my day just waiting around for other people to ride thrill rides that make my lips numb jus tinkin 'bout dem!
NOtowerofterror
NOrocknrollercoaster
NOstartours
One thing I love about the Studios is the Streetmosphere performers! Last trip we were there for opening and they were everywhere. The crowds were low and it was so much fun! Here a pic of a guy that really interacted with us:
Loved him!!
I suspect this day we'll head back for a swim, too. We have lunch at Sci-Fi at 1:30 or something like that, and if we've arrived at opening and want to see Fantasmic at night, we'll need the break (well, the kids will...

). Last trip we only saw Illuminations of all the nighttime shows, so this time Fantasmic and Wishes are at the top of the list!
Day 4 - Magic Kingdom!
This promises to be a very magical day indeed. It's morning EMH at the park, and we have an 8:00 ADR for Crystal Palace....
Getting in early baby!!!!
I cannot wait to walk down Main Stree with virtually no one else around....

I've heard sometimes there are Photopass photographers there to take your picture in front of the castle, but even if not, then I'll take one of the guys, and then DH can take one of me and the boys.
No real plan for the rest of the day here. It is our one chance to see SpectroMagic, so I'll have to factor that in to the plans. Since we have no dinner ADR to worry about, I suspect again we'll go back for a break after lunch, then come back around dinnertime.
Just can't go wrong with the Magic Kingdom!
Day 5 - Day off
The only thing currently on the schedule for today is dinner at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue! I'm looking forward to a more relaxed day. We might rent a boat, or head over to Fort Wilderness early and rent bikes, or maybe both!
Day 6 - Animal Kingdom
I'm really looking forward to this day! We have a ton of must-dos, but all day to accomplish them and no real schedule otherwise. DS6 really likes the Oasis trails, so we'll stroll through there. Afterwards, though, I think we'll make a bee-line to Everest and at least secure some FastPasses!
And I need to walk
all the way around the Tree of Life...!
And have lunch at Flame Tree BBQ....
So I can listen to the background music, don'tcha know....
Dinner ADR at Boma that night, after AK closes, so we'll have time to see the Animal Kingdom Lodge while we're over there.
Day 7 - Magic Kingdom!!
Day 2 for MK and it's evening EMH! This is a new development and we are uber-excited for it. MK is sooo cool at night. We have a newly-secured ADR for breakfast at Kona Cafe at 10:00am, so we'll start the day there and then head over to the park. We'll have to take a swim break this day, since it's going to be a
long day for the kids! No Spectro, but there's Wishes at 8:00 so we'll definitely catch that. Then time for some nighttime magical fun - woo hoo!!
AND!!!!.....I may get to meet TarzansKat!!!!!!!!
Day 8 - Epcot
Last full day.....
*sigh* If the first day here went as planned, we'll spend today in Future World. I've got some characters to meet in Innoventions West, the Seas with Nemo and Friends to explore, and Soarin' and Test Track to ride as many times as is possible! Dinner ADR for Chef Mickey's tonight, so a quick trip on the monorail will put us there in no time. Depending on what time we finish with that - and how everyone is holding up - we may try to catch Illuminations. But, again, since we saw that last time, it's at the bottom of the priority list and if we see it then fine, but if not then oh well.
Wow, suddenly I'm REALLY excited about our trip.....! 31 days and counting!!

Incredible Quote:
Edna: This is a hobo suit, darling. You can't be seen in this. I won't allow it. Fifteen years ago, maybe, but now? Feh!
Bob: Wait, what do you mean? *You* designed it.
Edna: I never look back, darling! It distracts from the now.
