You ever see a movie and think that there was no one else who ever could have played a role as well as a particular person? I'll use the obvious one as an example, Clark Gable as Rhett in GWTW.

How about some other movies with a role that seemed taylor made for a particular actor or actress.

Haley Joel Osment in the 6th Sense. I can't think of another young male actor who could have pulled that off as well as he did.

And from the Mame thread... Rosalind Russell as the lead character.

Natalie Wood in Splendor in the Grass. Truly one of the most underrated actors of all time.

George C. Scott as Patton. Don't ya wish they could have met in real life?!

Ben Kingsley's tour de force in Gandhi. A look alike and one of the most amazing performances ever.

I can think of a lot more but I'll leave some for the rest of you.
