I've been planning our July trip to Florida for months. My husband has recited his credit card number a few times when we've booked things but apart from that he's shown minimal interest. We've been 3 times before and he only agreed to a 4th because our daughter is keen and this may be our last holiday with her.

BUT today he's been shopping and bought some shorts and Hawaian shirts and now he's told me that we need to book our car soon and it might be fun to have a convertible!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree with that last comment hehe Luckily for me hubby got bitten by the Florida bug the first time we went so I don't have to twist his arm tooo much How wonderful, a convertible!

I agree my DP doesnt need any encouragement, he seems to take it all amongst himself to book hols etc!! LOL

Now guess what he's done.....!

We'd booked a Days Inn near Miami Airport for our first night and now he's changed it to the Holiday Inn South Beach for TWO nights before we drive up to Orlando! I really think he likes the idea of cruising along Ocean Drive in the convertible wearing his sunglasses, or should that be 'shades'?
We've booked the car with yescarhire but have to wait for the voucher to arrive as it's 'subject to availability'. Keeping our fingers crossed!
(BTW yescarhire were cheaper than all other sites we checked out and about £60 cheaper than the car hire companies themselves)

Another vote for Yescarhire, they came in £60 cheaper than our travel broker for our car hire in july.

Totally understand what you mean about hubby and the convertible. Mine wants to book a HUMMER for the weekend while we are there: ony $249 A DAY Yeah, like THAT'S going to happen!

It must be a bloke thing!
