I got an email with a three digit code that it told me to mention when I called. I knew from reading the boards that it was just marketing junk, yet I couldn't stop myself and I called anyway. Of course...it was a bunk code.

The cast member had a bit of a tude on the phone, but that also could have been because we had a bit of a bad connection and I had a hard time understanding her.

We will still book at the end of this month when I get my bonus from work, but had the code been a legit one I would have put the deposit down now. Oh well...here's hoping the three digit code now is an indication that perhaps we will get a legit pin code in the future for our December trip.:thumbsup2

I keep getting those emails...the first time I was excited as I thought it was a PIN, but all it entitled me to was rack rate...now I just delete them...

We never get PINS but we are getting the 3 code emails with rack rate and also got a five digit code for $2 off personalized Disney gift card :rotfl2::rotfl2: Guess they thought they would save me $2 on my rack rate reservation.

I am also tired of getting that teaser code email, but still hopeing for a real pin #

My daughter received one of those same codes. When I priced it out, it was rack rate. The email also provided a link to view the resort and the pictures were before the CBR had a room make-over several years ago.

Also got one of the $2 discounts on a gift card..which also made me.. :rotfl2:.
Sure, two bucks is two bucks and all, but really not close to what I was hoping for when I opened that email. It certainly isn't going to help me be able to go on vacation this year.

just back of a 5n in the Wonder and got the email. Got exited as we never get any PINs. And then it was the save $2. Come on...

That happened to me last year and I didn't let the Disney travel agent off the hook! I ended up negotiating $1000 off the rack rate of my package - it's worth a try! Keep calling until someone is willing to "deal" with you.... Nothing to lose!!
