For those of you that haven't seen Kara's and my posts on FB, there's some confusion about when we actually get to GC. According to DCL (I called again this morning to confirm), we get in around 7 am. According to the GC Port Authority, we get in around 9:45 am. Probably not a big deal except for those of us planning private excursions, but something to be aware of.

UMTerp, I contacted Sharon at Native Way and she's not sure of the times either since she has conflicting information. She said she'll give us 2 tours times based on the 2 arrival times; waiting to hear back from her.

Staring at my suitcase and wishing it would pack itself...

It's snowing today here after being in the 60's yesterday- definitely ready for sunshine!

I'm picturing you (even though I don't know what YOU look like!) and waiting to see things jumping into your suitcase! Did it work? Or did you have to do it the old fashioned way..... actually carrying clothes from drawers and closets to the suitcase???

I just finished packing myself and DD so now one more day of work then we leave! WOO HOO

My DH needs to pack still but that's not my problem! LOL He'll pack tomorrow while I'm at work!

DD (age 9) would've packed herself but I wouldn't let her! LOL

I can see myself on my verandah right now! AHHHHHHH!

Response from Grand Cayman Port Authority.....


Dear Kara,

Disney Magic is scheduled for 10:30 AM at our port. Having said that, most of the cruise liners arrive at the port much earlier than their scheduled time and the visitors always get a few hours extra than their pre-decided halt. Meaning, that you could safely go by the Cruise Liners information.

You can check the schedule any time by visiting the website at http://www.caymanport.com/shipschedules.php

You can double click on any of the cruise ships from the previous months and see that the arrival time and the scheduled time is not necessarily the same.

you know.... since this is a disney cruise it would be nice if we were issued a magic wand with the cruise docs and then packing would be a breeze I would turn mine in at checkin for the next person.

Our plane leaves Wed at 8pm-ish.
We are going to AKL @ WDW.
I thought it would be better to get in late and get up early.
That way the kids get a whole day at WDW on Thurs. instead of flying.

Thank you everyone for the incredible FE gifts!!!! It was so much fun to go through them last night - y'all are some crazy creative peeps!!!! Can everyone post what they made? I can't keep them all straight!

We gave out the "spa" products, Mickey soaps, bath salts, bubble bath, shower gel, and the pirate wrapper candy bars.....

So sad our cruise is over! We had such a wonderful time. Sorry I didn't get to meet most of you - took a bonine the morning of sail away and ended up napping through the meet. But thanks everyone for the great FE gifts; we just loved getting back to the room and seeing what fun things had been left for us. (We did the canvas bags with the Mickey heads and various toys for the kids). And a special thanks to you, Kara, for organizing things for us!

Off to do another load of laundry (did we really wear all that in one week )

It was great to meet you all and thanks for all the wonderful gifts!!! I can't believe how creative you all are!!! Made me wish I had paid more attention to Arts and Crafts as I am woefully bad at it! I did the bag with the phote paper, glowsticks, tatoos and the Boston Baked Beans (where I was born).
