Flying back the day you get off the cruise is not bad.
We do it when we have to.
This cruise is using up DVC points so it just made sense to use a few more and stay at WDW on each side of the cruise.
We used to fly in the morning of the cruise too but that is really tiring. We were getting up at 4 to catch a 7 am flight. Didn't work well with kids.
Besides, I have to have my Disney withdrawl a bit slower than getting off the ship and then "bam" I'm home that night wondering who is going to cook dinner![]()
Sometimes it's best to just RIP that bandaid right off!
Last year we stopped in Jacksonville to visit friends (we had just moved from there to SC and were missing it terribly!) but we were so miserable we couldn't even enjoy our visit! I think we just need to avoid other people for a few days after the cruise to allow us time to wallow in our own self pity!!!

We usually do pre-stays and not post stays as the one time we did, we found we needed a vacation from the vacation. After a cruise we are usually so relaxed that we like to ease into life and visiting the parks is too hectic -- easpecially at spring break!

We are flying saturday too - like 230pm I think. Not sure what we are going to do. I want to do something but not sure we would be up for the parks for the day. I remember last time we were tired.

Thanks for all your hard work on the Meet Board.
