Thanksgiving

Does anyone know if/when Disney will let us know who will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving Meal? The window to book ADRs is fast approaching. We are looking outside of the theme parks. Any suggestions? Has anyone had counter service for Thanksgiving? Eating outside sounds appealing and several resorts offer that.

I'm not sure if they will serve a traditional meal, but if you are looking for more American fare, I would consider P&J's takeout at Ft. W. They offer family meals (fried chicken, corn, etc.) that is very good and plentiful and there are picnic tables outside the restaurant. Ft. W is also just a lovely place to visit - the stables are just a short walk from the QS and you can even rent canoes/kayaks and bikes at the resort.

We have been on several trips that week and it seems most places have some type of Thanksgiving food both CS and TS but does not always make it on the list.

Noticed Whispering Canyon doesn't show dinner reservations for Thanksgiving.

We can book next week and that was one of the places we were eyeing. I wonder if Boatwrights will be open since the resorts will be. Any counter service recommendations?

I'm hoping Whispering Canyon will open up reservations. We booked Ohana for Thanksgiving. My window opened Tues. My favorite is Liberty Tree.

We’ve only been once during Thanksgiving, and that year they released the list of who would have special meals before the ADR date but they didn’t release the menu until much closer to the actual date. Got kinda burned on that too, so trying to go for Boma this year!!
