thanksgiving

so trying to decide when to visit DLR again, we went last Halloween and had so much fun, that 3 year (then 2) son keeps wishing on the First Star to go back. DH said to start watching for deals but since we went at Halloween last year I would like to try something different.

So I am wondering is DLR open thanksgiving day and what are the crowds like during that week? Also are the decorations for Christmas out?

1. Yes it's open.
2. Crowds will probably be pretty busy, but I'll let someone who's done it chime in. I believe the week before was pretty crowded with schools that had the whole week off.
3. Yes, xmas will be in full swing in the parks. Including parades, fireworks, etc.

We have gone the week after Thanksgiving & it was fabulous! Crowds were very low & all the magic of Christmas was up! We've also gone the 2nd week of December which was great as well. I think the crowds were a bit heavier though.

The first week of December (week after Thanksgiving) is usually the best time to see the xmas decorations without the crazy crowds.

We went last year, Wed night we drove down to Anaheim and we were in the parks from Thurs-Sun. It was GREAT!!!!! low crowds and lots of fun. We loved it. I would absolutely go again.

that's when we are thinking of going at Thanksgiving, but I'm so worried about the crowds. I'd love to go the week after, but I want the longer hours, such a confusing decision isn't it. I've been checking the hotels and alot of the places are already sold out, so is that a sign that it will be really busy?

We were there Sunday-Saturday of Thanksgiving week last year. I would say the worst crowds were leading up to Thanksgiving, then it gets better from Thanksgiving onward.
