Thanksgiving

I searched under "Thanksgiving" and it said no threads so I'm going to ask----How crowded are the parks on Monday-Wednesday before Thanksgiving? That may be my best chance to visit this year.

It varies year to year. Many students have the week up to thanksgiving off and sometimes populate the park. However, because Veterans day and thanksgiving don't fall very close together this year I think the parks won't be as busy during that time as it was last year. And typically Monday-Wednesday is a less busy time to go regardless.

Make sure to use FP's and make any dinner reservations you want and you'll manage just fine.

We have been for the past 2 years over Thanksgiving week. It gets crazy busy on Thanksgiving day and then the weekend afterward.

We have gone twice over the time frame you mention and while it is busy, it isn’t terrible (how’s that for a recommendation?). The parks are open long hours so you can spread out your time at the parks. Really Monday and Tuesday aren’t bad, but it does start to get much busier on Wednesday. If you get to the park when before it opens and use fastpasses as much as possible, you will be fine.

We went last year on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving. This year we are going just Sunday/Monday.

The park wasn't bad AT ALL. In fact, If I recall, Tuesday started getting busier than the other days. I think this may have been the trip that Miley was in the park on Sunday.....and we didn't even know it (we avoided the area in front of the castle when we saw the stage set up, didn't even know it was for her).

We prepared for the worst and were pleasantly surprised. So surprised, that, we are going back again that week this year.
