Okay I went to Walmart the day of Halloween and they had all there Halloween decorations all up. Well i went two days later and they had the Christmas decor. up already! I mean they could at least decorate it for Thanksgiving for a week. I mean come on. I love Thanksgiving but i guess Walmart doesnt
but I think they should decorate it. To me Halloween doesnt need to be a holiday. I looked up the history and like most holidays it started from tradition. One story says that, on that day, the disembodied spirits of all those who had died would come back in search of living bodies to possess for the next year. Naturally, the still-living did not want to be possessed. So on the night of October 31, villagers would extinguish the fires in their homes, to make them cold and undesirable. They would then dress up in ghoulish costumes and noisily paraded around the neighborhood, being as destructive as possible in order to frighten away spirits looking for bodies to possess. So to me I think that Thanksgiving is a much more needed holiday than Halloween. I mean the pilgrims went through alot!!
