Hi everyone!
My wonderful father in law reserved a timeshare at the Marriott Cypress Point for thanksgiving day thru dec 2nd. The only problem is, the only days THEY (my inlaws) can stay are thanksgiving day - sunday. We are going to sea world one day, and will have two Disney days. Saturday night we have the Candlelight Processional booked. I want to maximize their enjoyment, while at the same time minimize their hassle on this trip (hoping to talk them into coming back sometime!). I KNOW we want to do Soarin. Does anyone have any tips for managing crowds, etc on this busy weekend? Luckily they won't want to do any of the other major rides besides Soarin, and I know they want to try to see the Osborne lights. Should I invest in a touring plan for their age group?

If you have the Candlelight Processional booked for Saturday, then I'd do Epcot on Saturday. Have one member of your party collect the admission and go over for FastPasses. That's the only reasonable way to do the attraction. Then just take your time with the rest of Epcot. If you "run out of time" there (impossible for me but that's me), you can always take them for a tour around the Epcot resorts by exiting from the International Gateway. Show them all the Christmas decorations. Took my in-laws hours to get around there.

By Sunday, the crowds die down a lot since a lot of people are leaving for home. I'd do MGM that day with either a nice late lunch or early dinner and then the lights.

Make sure you get a FP for Soarin first! Even when the parks are relatively empty the wait time for that ride has been long.

woo hoo. Thanks for the responses, and I hope you are right about the crowds on Sunday!!
