We are going to be staying on-site at the Royal Pacific Sat 11/17 thru Thurs 11/22. We are wondering which days we should visit which parks?

We want to do one day at Sea World & three days at the Universal Parks (we have park-to-park tickets). We have breakfast reservation for the three broomsticks on Monday 11/19 @ 9AM. Here was our tentative plan:

Sat 11/17:
-Check into hotel around Noon
-IOA/US: Noon to close

Sun 11/18:
-IOA (early entry to WWOHP)/US

Mon 11/19:
-IOA (early entry to WWOHP)/US

Tues 11/20:
-Seaworld

Wed 11/21:
-Pool day

Thurs 11/22:
-Drive home

I wasn't sure which day would be the most busy?

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Your plan looks pretty good and remember...since you're staying onsite, wait times will not be an issue. That week isn't really all that busy but unlimited Express will definitely help. Looks like a good plan...stick with it!

We went last year at this time and was not busy at all as far as we were concerned. Walk on for most things with express pass. It was a great time. Weather was perfect. Al least we thought so. Did see a few people with jeans and jackets but we were in shorts and tshirts every day. We also swam every day. We can't go until December this year. Hope the weather stays good.

You'll be fine. Crowds will be moderate at most, but completely tolerable. It's the Fri/Sat after Thanksgiving that are always crowded to the point of tears.

My family is also going the week of Thanksgiving but we are staying at the Hilton SeaWorld (timeshare) so we will have "express" passes only to SeaWorld, not IOA/US...should we consider buying them for a family of 4? We have 7 day park to park passes.

Also, are their "crowd calendar" predictors for IOS/US like there are for WDW parks? If not which parks would you recommend for which days?

We are staying 11/17-11/24.

Thanks!

PS - this will be our first visit to IOA, US & SeaWorld...any words of advice?

i would suggest you read thru the UO website and get to know the park and what it has to offer your family.
www.universalorlando.com

check out the stickies in the forum and get a general idea of UO before you go.

you can find out about the rides, shows, restaurants, ride requirements, etc in advance.

that way you will be prepared for the parks.

11/17-11/22 you will NOT need Express. The crowds are tolerable. 11/23 and 11/24 will be packed to oblivion at ALL PARKS. The price of Express (a good indicator of crowd level) will be significantly higher those days. Example: 1-park/1-day Express may be $25/person during the week. For that weekend, expect $60/person for 1-day/1-park express .

We weren't sure what we should were, jeans or shorts? I hope shorts!

Sounds like we will be able to walk onto a lot of rides with the express pass! I was worried it would be really busy this time of year so that is a relief!
