Thanksgiving week or Dec 17-24th (crowds)

December 17-24.

We used to go Thanksgiving week. At first it wasn't too bad. More recently, it's gotten really crowded. Right now, Touring Plans is showing 8's, 9's, and 10's for Thankgiving week.

We then switched to a few days before Christmas, checking out on December 26. This was crowded but not as crowded as Thanksgiving week had become. Right now, Touring Plans is showing 4's and 5's for the week before Christmas. Christmas Eve is a Saturday. This is showing a 10.

We were there this past Thanksgiving and it was crowded but manageable as it has been the other times we went that week over the years. We don’t go on roller coasters or anything with a drop and were able to do almost everything we wanted had 2 days in each park and were glad we had park hoppers because a few times had to hop to another one in the evening. For example for ROTR could not get it our first HS day but was able the next day at 7 am to get an evening time after being at AK. With Genie+ and ILL despite the technical issues got to book everything we planned to using both of those saved a lot of time waiting in line. We were lucky to land all our ADRs at the 60 day mark. These days I think it is probably about the same crowd wise between the times you mentioned.

We've gone the week before Christmas three times, including 2021, and really enjoyed it. All of the holiday festivities are up and running by that point as well, which made the trip even more enjoyable.

Ok great. We actually prefer the December dates but would go in Nov. if it was less crowded.
