Hi All,

Some quick thoughts on our recent trip to DL last week. There were a lot of people there, but the crowds were manageable. We started on Tuesday and left on Sunday, Saturday was actually a pretty light day for crowds, HM was 30 minutes or less all day and Screamin was 15 minutes all day. Space Mountain was only a 30 minute wait at 8 pm.

RSR was always a long wait even on Saturday, especially since it didn’t open early that day. We were able to do RSR at least twice a day, I grabbed FPs and we all did the single rider lines, which moved pretty fast in the morning. We saved our FPs for night, way cooler at night with all of the lights and neon of the land. Standby lines were all over the place from 90 to 180 minutes, but generally stayed around 120 the whole time we were there.

Carthay Theatre was awesome, spectacular food. Carsland was decorated quite nice for the holidays.

We stayed across the street at Park Vue Inn, no issues to report. I did check both rooms before we brought our luggage in, no signs of any bugs on the mattresses, rooms very clean.

I’ll do a proper trip report in a week or so when I have had time to go through all the pictures I took.

Glad you had a great time! We were there until Friday & thought the crowds were manageable too. Glad to hear they got even lighter over the weekend!

We were there Sunday-Thanksgiving Day. We were in the parks by 7:30 each morning and took advantage of Fast Passes and single rider lines. Rode RSR one time at night and three times in the morning. Usually went back to the resort around 2 and enjoyed the pool (stayed at the Grand Californian). Evenings were packed in the park but we used up our Fastpasses then, ate, and did some shopping. Had a wonderful dinner at Carthay Circle. The only thing we didn't get on was Small World, too crowded for the times we were in that area.

We had a great trip!
