Thanksgiving using points in holding

I have points in holding from a trip that I had to cancel next week and I wanted to use them the week of thanksgiving this year. I do not care where I stay but I would like a one bedroom if I can. I think the rule is that I can not make the reservation until 60 days out if I'm using points in holding.
What are my chances? Thanks

I started booking March 22 to April 1 with holding points mid February. I was able to get a split stay at BWV and BLT. Early on, I could have gotten OKW, SSR or Kidani but I wanted to stay at BWV or BLT.

I booked a day at a time until I got what I got. It was not easy and took a lot of trips to the online booking site.

If I were less picky, it would have been easier.

It will be a challenge. That's a very popular week and you won't be able use your holding points unless there is availability (i.e., no waitlist) for what you want to book 60 days or less prior to arrival.

One bedrooms tend to fill last and you are willing to stay at any of the WDW resorts so that is in your favor.

I think you may have trouble getting the Wed/Thurs/Fri of Thanksgiving week. If you can get the first half of the week, you might book it and take your chances filling in the rest of the days with a wait list and by checking the website every day. I would want to have a cash reservation somewhere for the days I could not get at 60 days just in case.
