A big part of our trip is relaxing by the pool...is late November going to be too cold?

Realizing that no one has a crystal ball ;) , just curious what your personal experience has been travelling around the Thanksgiving holiday...

Maybe, maybe not. We've been there there during the beginning of Nov, including the full week before Thanksgiving and it really varies. We've had temps in the upper 80's and temps in the upper 60's. More often around 80, but still, you just never know.

The pools are heated (I think). I do remember swimming late at night after being at the Park all day during a November trip... definitely one of my favorite parts of every WDW trip.

It's not the cold you need to worry about, but rain. Last Thanksgiving was the only one of the last couple of years I can remember where it rained several days (thunderstorm for more than a few hours). We were stuck inside the hotel room for 2 straight days because it wouldn't let up.

Last year, the kids swam but it was too cold for us. But my parents did use the hot tubs, it was just a cold walk back.

IDK can you swim is the question! ;)

Some days yes, some days no. All depends if the weather is going to be normal in November. Avg temp during that time is 78 highs-58lows. Bring a suit and pray to the weather gods.

God, how I do wish Disney would really build that bubble.;)

This is exactly how it works for me. The kids swim, i relax in a lounge chair.. the kids are a bit cold walking back to room... bring lots of towels. :)

We were there this past Thanksgiving (POFQ) and our twins swam the first 4 days til the weather turned bad. Pool was heated and we also used the hot tub. I read magazines while they swam.

The weather in FL that time of year is really unpredictable. We went for Thanksgiving two years ago. While we probably could have swam during the day on a few of the days we were there because it was fairly warm , it was too cold at night. We spent most of our days in the parks so we didn't get in the pool.

It's been my experience that one's personal limitations on "it's too cold to swim" are highly dependent upon the climate they live in regularly. I'm from Michigan. I have never yet met a Disney pool (including December and March trips) that was colder than Lake Erie is in the very height of summer.

The kids swam this past November. That being said the weather was all over the place. We usually go end of August and the rain will stop pretty quickly (if there isn't a tropical storm). The rain seemed to go forever this time (maybe just seemed that way cause it was colder). It drove me nuts that the kids and DH were complaining about the rain. I mean we're from Seattle...the kids have played soccer in worse weather, walking around a park in the rain should not have been a big deal...
