Hello all!
I have just found this forum and I am so excited to be able to use it to plan our trip!! Myself, husband, son (3 yrs), and in-laws will be visiting DLR (hope I have the lingo right :) ) over Thanksgiving this year; dh and in-laws are self-employed, so this is really the only time of year we can go together... First question, are we insane for going during Thanksgiving (Wed-Sunday)? A few people have told me how crazy/busy it is at that time, but I figure its Disneyland, when isn't it busy?! Also, we will be staying at the Residence Inn - Maingate... We were looking at the HoJo, but chose to get a two-bedroom suite (since we are going with in-laws) at the Res. Inn rather than two rooms at HoJo... was this a good choice, or should I reconsider?? This will be ds first trip to DLR, and dh and I haven't been since we were both kids (separately of course :) ) Anyway, thank you for reading my rambling... sorry if a million people have asked these questions before!

Also, if you call Hojos and get the entertianment card rate, you can get 2 rooms for pretty cheap. We are going in June and got it for $54. a night. Just something to think about. The book for us was $27. so we save a bunch of money! If you call between 9-5 and ask for inhouse res. they would be able totell you if the rate is available for when you go. Otherwise I think you will be fine with the Res. Inn. We stayed at the hotel next door to it, and it looked pretty nice!
