I finally down loaded some pics from our recent trip to Universal. We stayed at the RP Club level. Checked in on Wedesday, the day before Thanksgiving and stayed until Sunday, we were very pleased with our stay at RP and I would stay there again. We have stayed at PB in the past (before WWofHP opened). I will post some pics of the room soon, DD has those on her camera so I haven't uploaded her pics yet.
HP was great and we were very impressed with the details at HP!

On to the most important things....the food! We ate at Three Broomsticks a couple times...yummy! We liked the chicken and it is only 9.95 (I think) plus you get 10% off if you use your AAA card!! We got ice cream there once too.

Our trip was a very relaxing one due to staying on site and using our hotel express passes! We usually walked to the parks but we did use the boat twice, once to go and once to return to the RP. We found the walk to be a little quicker and we liked the exercise. The weather was very mild so that helped too.
We just walked around HP on our arrival day admiring the shops and scenery. DD and I thought the park was very authentic to the movies too. We liked the small spaces and really felt like we were in the wizarding world!

We were speechless with our first view of......

FJ was great and DD and I both liked it! I did take a Dramamine before I rode FJ, but DD (15) didn’t need any though.
This ride was very smooth and not jerky at all!
This pic is what the seats looks like

On the way to FJ you will see this....

We did do the one hour early entry, crowded but not as bad as during the day. We only did early entry once because we found that going later in the evening to ride and even visiting the shops less crowded! (Thanks DIS boards for that tip!!!)

thanx for sharing!

i never tire of reading trip reports and looking at the pictures that go with it.

sounds like you had a great vacation there.

Wow! I just read about the crowds at IoA today...yikes!

On with our trip...

FJ was really nice and here is what DD and I recommend for your first time. Take the castle tour first, before you actually ride FJ! While just touring, take your time and look at all the details that were put into this que...amazing!! We were able to get many pictures without holding up the line and took a lot of time just watching.

We really enjoyed this guy...Dumbledore (He really looked real but you can't hardly see him in this pic.)

The signs were very nice! Tip, walk through the line even if you don't ride, lots of great things to look at along the way. On the ride you have a great view of the castle, ride it at night!!!

The next pic is in the line at Dragon Challenge, again, walk through even if you don't ride!

On Sunday, our last day, we did get to see some of the Macy's decorations going up at the Studios. They were cute and I wish we would have been able to see the parade.

During our 4 night/5 day stay we did go to the Studios a few times. We rode most rides (express pass!!!!!) without any waits! My DD even rode Rip Ride Rocket (no express on this one) several times with little wait in the single line side. She loved this ride but it is not for me..big dip and upside down...no way! We were able to ride Jaws a few times too. I am glad we did that since they are closing it. The crowds at US were great too!

We ate at Finnegan's and the pizza place close to the Mummy. The pizza was great and Finnegan's is always a must! Remember your AAA discount here too!

Also, remember to use the entrance near The Blue Man Group when coming from IoA. It was quicker and there was never a line. The finger scanner was hit or miss at this entrance, but that is how it was at the regular entrances too.

I FINALLY managed to upload DD's pictures of our trip. Here are the pics of our king club room at RP. This is the first room we had with the highway view. The second room was the same except we had a theme park view.

The sink didn't have any shelves on or around it so that was not the best.
