Thanksgiving School Holidays- How long?

I was just wondering how long your children get off for Thanksgiving. Here in Louisiana they get the whole week of Thanksgiving off. Do your children get Thanksgiving day and the friday after only or do they get the whole week off? We are going to WDW this year for Thanksgiving and in one of the guide books I have (not sure which one as I have several) it states Thanksgiving Day through the weekend in very busy. The week leading up to Thanksgiving is a very manageable crowd. So this leads me back to the original question. What do you guys think?

We get the whole week off, but the crowds won't be bad at Disney the first part of the week up until Thanksgiving.

I don't know what the crowds are like since I've only been in Feb and April, but here it varies. Schools either give just THursday and Friday off, or those two days plus Wednesday off. I'm in college and only get Thursday and Friday off

Our school system is the same. But we will be one of those that will be down there during that time and the week after. We went during that time of year 4 years ago and had a great time. Plus we get the day off after Thanksgiving so we take advantage of it to extend our vacation time.

Our school district used to give the kids the whole week of Thanksgiving off, but now the kids get Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off. The other two days are now added to the Christmas break.

My kids get Thursday and Friday. They've never even gotten out early on Wednesday, let alone had it off.

Our local school system (K-12) gets the entire week off. Colleges get Wednesday through Friday.
