Thanksgiving ressies for dinner?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice place for thanksgiving dinner? We were going to try Mythos but read that it may be closed on Thursdays.

please help! I'm getting desperate!!!!

It may be a bit late to make ressies, but how about Emeril's? May you can try a restaurant at PBH.

If you are staying on-site, call the hotel's concierge for recommendations. Last year, they faxed me a lot of info about Thanksgiving dinner and made the arrangements for me.

Thanks! I called and got ressies for the grill. The menu sounds delicious. We will just have to try Mythos a different day.

Mythos will be open on Thanksgiving and in fact already have 40 plus confirmed reservations for that day.

For those inclined to dine later in the day, you will be pleased to know that MYTHOS will be open later that day and i believe you can make ressies for as late as 6 pm for Thanksgiving meal.

They have noticed that people like to dine later in the afternoon on that day so they are staying open to accomodate.

Should be the normal menu items plus a Thanksgiving menu with the traditional items prepared in MYTHOS fashion.

Thanks for the Thanksgiving day update Kevin! I got nervous when I read they will be closing on Thursdays, what's up with that?
I think I made ours for 4:00, so it is good to know we won't be rushed out since they are open later that day.

Low attendance figures are the reason for the closings. It is thought that both MYTHOS and Confisco's will be open on thanksgiving.

It seems that during past thanksgivings the people just kept coming thru the afternoon to eat so MYTHOS is expecting a steady crowd from 1:00 pm on till close which could be park closing time but i think 6 or 6:30 would be the max for last seating time, unless you got a large group of 50 plus and make a special arraingment with them

Just an FYI, when I called today, I was told the latest reservation was for 6 p.m., and they asked me to leave a phone #, just in case something came up, like a large function.

For those who have eaten at Mythos, can you tell me why this is a good choice for Thanksgiving? Since we are renting a house, my family (Mom & Sister) want to cook Thanksgiving dinner. That's the LAST thing I want to do on vacation. If I can come up with a good alternative, maybe I can avoid it. Thanks for your help.

Greaattt, we're open later so I have less time to spend with my family. Oh well, it's all good. At least I get holiday pay.

Anyhoo, the menu is: butternut squash soup or house salad (with a champagne vinaigrette), roast turkey, mash, fresh tuscan bread stuffing, honery glazed yams, veggies and bourbon giblet gravy. You have your choice of apple pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie or pumpkin flan. I believe the total price is 15.95, but don't quote me on that.

The menu sounds wonderful!! I'm sorry they have you working all day. Too bad they couldn't split the shift. That's what we used to do on holidays when we had our restaurant. It stinks working holidays, I have worked many!
We used to pick another day to celebrate, especially with Thanksgiving. christmas is the hardest one to celebrate a different day.
