we are going Thanksgiving week and were wondering where everyone eats on Thanksgiving for dinner besides Liberty Tree because it is booked?? Thanks for any suggestions!

We're planning on Yacht Club Galley, I can't call for ADR's until Friday.

We decided on Hollywood and Vine for the fantasmic package.............we did this 2 years ago and really enjoyed the special seating......we are taking relatives who have never been to disney and hope they love it as much as we did!
Besides getting to see the Osborne lights will be a plus!

feeling like a princess already!

So is LTT totally booked with no hope for those of us who aren't at WDW days before Thanksgiving? If they really didn't hold any seats for the 90 day mark, that just stinks. I should've used the back door (held ressies, got the PS, then cancelled htl before penalty).

I thought I readd that with the new policy if you cancelled your reservation your ADR's were cancelled also

We ate at Chef Mickeys last Thanksgiving. It was really good. A real turkey dinner, with all the fixings. Dh doesn't care for turkey so he had beef and dd had mac and cheese and chicken strips!!! We got really lucky and ended up being seated in the upper level, by the windows that overlook the front parking lot, and the lake. Much quieter and the view was wonderful as the sun set.

Made a ADR for Boma this year. We love Boma, and since they have their regular menu plus the Thanksgiving items, we can't go wrong!

We have an ADR for Rose and Crown in Epcot. They are surving a Thanksgiving menu in addition to the regular menu. We are hoping this restaurant will be a little calmer than LTT or some of the more popular choices.

We went to LTT last year and while it was pretty good, it was loud and crowded to the max. This year we are going to Whispering Canyon Cafe.

The new 90+10 ADR policy is making it very tough to get ADR's for sure. I called this morning as it's my first day I can and the 3 choices for TG dinner (LTT, CG, & CRT) I had were booked. All CRT breakfasts were book for during my stay as well. She said they'll open up some more spots on the 90 day mark so I hope we'll be able to have TG dinner somewhere. I can only imagine how many will be on the phones in the morning.

We'll only beat ya by a day. I'm not looking forward to calling again in the morning either. At least we're east coasters! ahmm, at least that' where I think you're from.lol :rotfl:

I'd love to get for dinner somewhere but even if we end up eating burgers at B&C TG day I'll be just happy to be there!

We check in on Thanksgiving too and I just called Disney Dining to find out about Thanksgiving and the FDP and the CM said there are no special Thanksgiving offerings at the Fantasmic Dinner Package restaurants at MGM. How can I not eat turkey on Thanksgiving? I can't. But I may have no choice if everything is booked.

:earseek:

We did Thanksgiving at the fort last year. It is like MBYB, but with Thankgiving dinner. We enjoyed it. The only downfall- the kids left hungry , they danced with the characters the whole time!

I am happy to NOT eat turkey on Thanksgiving! It doesn't seem like a traditional meal would really go when I'm in WDW.

Last time it was pasta with shrimp at Narcoosee's and this year hopefully it will be Wolfgang's Puck's at WDW!

Here's wishing you get exactly what you want! :wizard:

I scored California Grill at 5:00 for TG dinner and also an 8:10 CRT for TG day! I was luckier than I thought I'd be!

I hope everyone else got what they were wanting too!

YEs, CRT breakfast was out on Monday when we called for the whole 6 days of our stay. But thanks to the awesome CM (Cameron!) we got CRT Lunch for one the days. So myself and my 6 year old princess are excited about that!

I didn't get on the phone until about 7:15am since Katrina knocked out power during the night long enough to reset my alarm clock. After being on hold for 52 minutes my choices were LTT at 9:10 or WCC at 8:50. Those are just too late for my little ones to be out and I'm sure no one would enjoy it so I had to rearrange my park days.

Now we will do AK on Thanksgiving and eat dinner at Shutters at the hotel at 6:30. We'll go to MK on Friday instead and have our turkey dinner at Liberty Tree.

I'm a little disappointed, but at least we will be at Disney and I'm just so thankfull that Katrina went south and missed us that in the scheme of things changing dining plans is not that big a deal.
