Yup we're having our Thanksgiving dinner next Sunday as we're Canadian!:wave2:

I too love this holiday and don't even mind doing all the preparation for it.:D You're not expected to buy tons of gifts and everyone can just sit and relax plus the next day we get to microwave the leftovers!::yes::

Three years ago we celebrated our Thanksgiving here in Canada and then flew off for a WDW trip and got to celebrate your Thanksgiving too! It was really nice.::yes::

Having Thankgiving in October gives us an extra month or so to lose the extra pounds we gained at Thansgiving diner before we start over again at Christmas.

The only bad about our Thankgiving it is only a three day long weeked not a four day like yours.

Happy Early Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends up north.....I am sure that more than a few of us will be drooling, lol! Enjoy!

Not all that excited about Thanksgiving. Once it is Thanksgiving then it is Christmas and then it's winter...YUCK

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I DO love turkey and do a full turkey dinner often. Sometimes so often that my family complains!!! Can you imagine??? I have making a turkey dinner down to a science!

Tonight was DD's birthday and she chose chicken parm. For me, MUCH harder to make than a turkey dinner!

LOOK, it's a DisDoggie!!

We just had our practice Thanksgiving dinner two weekends ago. It's never too early to start stretching your belly. :D

I guess Friday is Canadian's Thanksgiving Day? Happy Early Thanksgiving.:) Is the traditional Thanksgiving dinner in Canada the same as it is in the US?:)

Happy Birthday to your daughter, Dorothy.:)

Jeanny, I've noticed the doggie before, but I never thought of the doggie as being a DisDoggie. I think that little cute thing should be our Dis Mascot.:)

browneyes our Thanksgiving is actually next Monday but we call the whole weekend (only Sat & Sun) our Thanksgiving weekend. And yes we have the same style turkey dinner with trimmings as you have.:D
Some people have their turkey dinner on Monday but we always have it on the Sunday so we have leftovers for the Monday.:sunny:

Thanks for clearing that up, Sammi.:) You're so lucky to be celebrating Thanksgiving soon! I wish I could convince my family to eat Thanksgiving dinner right now.:teeth:

I've tried the fried turkey. It's ok, but I think I might prefer a fresh from the oven turkey more.:)
