Anyone back from Thanksgiving trip yet? Where did you eat Thanksgiving dinner? How was it? What did they have? Just trying to plan ahead for next year! Thanks!

We ate at my parents house. My mom always cooks Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. There were 20 of us. The food was great. Here is what we had: turkey, ham, rolls, cranberry sause, olives, green beans, pumkin pie, apple pie, cookies and ice cream. All of the other food was homemade: dressing (one with bell pepper and onion and one without), macaroni and cheese (I made), pineapple casserole, potato salad (one with egg one without), sweet potato casserole with marshmellows on top and fruit salad. We will be having the same for Christmas dinner.

Still here, but we did Thanksgiving at the Fort. We did this two years ago and enjoyed it so we decided to repeat. The character interaction is the best.

We ate at UNO'S Restaurant. It was the only one open. Good American food. popcorn::

We ate at LTT and is was wonderful! Having colonial characters created the perfect atmosphere. They also served pumpkin pie for dessert!

We ate lunch at Trail's End. They had their usual buffet offerings plus traditional Thanksgiving turkey and dressing. The turkey and dressing wasn't that great, but their ribs and fried chicken, as usual, were terrific! :thumbsup2 As a special treat, they brought every table a whole pumpkin pie for dessert, which I thought was kind of cool.

For dinner that night we ate at Raglan Road. Not traditional Thanksgiving food, but it was fun and the food was tasty.

We ate at LTT. It was good as usual. They do need to get better with the green beans though. They need help. They had way to much garlic on them.

We ate at LTT for Thanksgiving. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was grand.

We ate at Whispering Canyon. It wasn't great. The turkey had so much smoke taste that my son actually got sick during the night. This is twice that we've eaten there and don't think we'll go back.

Our best meal the whole week was LTT. I wish that had been our Thanksgiving meal!

There were eleven of us total in our party. The food was okay, and we all got the turkey dinners, but really having turkey at a Steakhouse seemed wrong. It just wasn't the same. The pumpkin pie was good as was the Lobster Bisque!

We ate an early lunch at CP and a late dinner at LTT (can you say Dining Plan???). Anyway, the CP was better, by a lot, IMO. The prime rib was wonderful and the turkey they served was real carved turkey.

At LTT we were served pressed turkey breast, along with the pork and not-very-good flank steak. The stuffing was great and the gravy was very good. No cranberry sauce at LTT but there was some at CP.

It's a little more work to stand in the buffet line at CP but next year I'd choose this restuarant over the LTT. JMHO!!!

Wow a whole pumpkin pie for each table. Cool. We're eating there on Christmas. DH has informed me that he is passing on the turkey and going straight for the ribs. :rotfl: He's still upset b/c we ate lunch there in September. Hence, no ribs. TEB is a must every trip.

Forgot to tell you that the Fort was a buffet with turkey or ham. Yes, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin pie, etc. And we did CRT for breakfast which was nice.

We ate at 5:30 at Trail's End on Thanksgiving Day. There were 18 of us and everyone enjoyed it. Loved having our own pumpkin pie, but the pie wasn't that great! The rest was great though. And we loved the atmosphere - very homespun and rustic. We went over early and the kids played on the playground and the little ones had pony rides! They loved it!

We just got back last night. We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Crystal Palace. It was an awesome buffet, and a wonderful value for the dining plan. Like a previous poster said the prime rib and turkey were wonderful. So were all the sides and desserts.

Hoop Dee Doo Review. There were 13 of us. The food was great--- if it isn't Thanksgiving at home, we just didn't want the turkey dinner (I'm doing that next weekend!). The entertainment was terrific and they were doing their Christmas show. It felt great and we couldn't have made a better choice for us!

We had an ADR for LTT but I ended up cancelling it. We went to the Sleuth's Mystery Dinner on I-Drive. It was soooo much fun and they served a traditional turkey day meal.

We went to Boma ~ and the food was excellent. The only item that I was dissappointed in was the mashed potaotes, they seemed oily  .
However, they did include all of the thanksgiving fixings as well as their usual wonderful buffet items. The prime rib was so good, as well as the soup and the zebra domes :cloud9: .
Later we went to the MK and watched wishes and the new castle lights...it was amazing!

I realized that I didn't clarify HDDR's meal. It was salad, cornbread, ribs, fried chicken, strawberry shortcake, beverages included. All the house wine, beer on tap (Bud and Bud Light at least) and sangrias were included too. Just a nice change for Thanksgiving. My turkey is thawing in the fridge right now for a post- Thanksgiving "Thanksgiving" dinner!
