Thanksgiving Dinner in DL!

DH & I will be moving from SD to Orange Cty for DH's new job!!!

Packers come on the 21st and movers on the 22nd. So as you can see, we will all be busy unpacking … etc.

So Thursday I would like to make reservations for Thanksgiving Dinner, preferably late afternoon.

What does everyone suggest as far as Downtown Disneyland goes … or Napa Rose, Storytellers .. etc. ???

We will have company with us that do not have passes so nothing in the Parks.

From the comments of others on the Dis lately, it seems that Storyteller's is already fully booked for Thanksgiving. Some are recommending the PCH Grill at the Paradise Pier as a good alternative. I haven't tried it, but it does sound like they offer a nice buffet that is similar to Storyteller's. You may also want to consider the Jazz Kitchen, since I've heard they serve a great Thanksgiving meal. They would be my personal second choice if Storyteller's wasn't available. I'm not a foodie, so I can't offer opinions on Napa Rose. With the popularity of that place though, I wouldn't be surprised if they too are booked up for Thanksgiving. The other big meal choice is the buffet at the DLH ballroom, pricy at around $72 per adult, but if you were considering Napa Rose, that price may not bother you as much as it does me.

Thanks, sweetie! I am so glad I called at your suggestion. I so figured they would be BOOKED. And I do believe I am late at calling. BUT nope, CM, Jessie, confirmed my ressie for Storytellers on Thanksgiving. YEAH!!! I am so excited!!!

I was going to suggest Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen or even Mimi's Cafe, we have very much enjoyed the Thanksgiving meals there. But I'm glad you got Storyteller's!! You will enjoy that as well!

Thanks, Pixie! While we do love both Ralph Brennan's and Mimi's, I am really excited about Storyteller's! They are offering a prefix traditional Thansgiving Dinner with all the trimmings and dessert for $22.00pp!
