Hey! We will be at Universal on Thanksgiving Day. My mom was looking to see if any of the restaurants in either IOA, USF, or CW will serve a Thanksgiving Dinner...to make my dad happy ;)

Does anyone have any information about this?'

Oh, and Selina..my uncle isn't going to meet us anymore...he has ended up being host of a family dinner...so they ARE having one this year...and this will be the first year we aren't going. Having dinner with my mom's large family (of around 12 or 20) or go to Universal Studios???? :p

It's a no brainer -- Universal!

(My mom's youngest sister totally understands...she said she *so* remembers the Ghostbusters Show...LOL)

Turkey Leg Platter at Enchanted Oak Tree!
Then go ride Dragons, just like the Pilgrims' used to do!!

LOL!! :p

Is this Turkey Leg Platter like the turkey legs you can buy throughout the parks? We're using that as back-up :teeth:

LOL!!! Sounds great. You could always eat at Mythos. Not really traditional, but very special!!!!!

The RPR is having a themed dinner at the Islands Buffet if I am not mistaken.

Oh...all change then. Well it depends on what sort of thing your dad would like - quiet or lively. Have you been to that pirate show thing that DM was on about a while ago that's near Universal - that sounds good - I think I'm going to do that one.:D

Hmm...no I haven't...

Hey, I guess I'll just ask...where in Orlando NEAR Universal (or at) serves a Thanksgiving dinner? You know, the turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie...???

Oh I see you want the dinner to - must have misread. Well I don't think you will get that at the pirate thing. The Palm restaurant may serve a nice dinner you know - expensive but I have a feeling they will live up to the "occasion"! The atmosphere would probably suit your dad too - then...........do something crazy...take him somewhere he's never been before!:D

FlyFly ~ last year we ate at the Trattoria @ the Portofino - Traditional Thanksgiving dinner -- so yummy!!!
Turkey with all the trimmings & even Roast beef !!
It was a buffet - about $40.00 per person & we had to reserve in advance.

Have fun !!!!!:sunny:

I do believe that Cracker Barrel should be open; Perkins should be, too. Both have traditional holiday dinners. :)

You should be able to find all Thanksgiving fixin's anywhere on I Drive.

Ask at Guest services or any other location that deals with the restaurants. They should know/be able to find out which ones in the parks/CityWalk will have them.

Great info DM!!!! I did not think that Citywalk establishments would have Thanksgiving dinner. Do you have any updates on what you were pming me about? I really appreciate it.

No updates yet. Soon, though.

And yes, some CW establishments will have the Thanksgiving dinner. I think NBA City would be a good place to try, they seem like they'd do it. Well, Emeril's too, but that's a different story...

Maybe it's the master plan!!!!!!!:p MMMMMuuuuuaaahhhhhh!!!!!

It's part of the plan to take over the world!!! Mwahahahahahaha.

And dont worry flyfly, I can tell you about it.

After I get more info that is.

Keep her in the dark DM!!!!!!! Don't let her in!!!! Just kidding.:p :p
