We will be arriving at the PBH on Thanksgiving Day. When I called the dining reservation kiosk I was told that they are real busy with the Halloween events and the Thanksgiving meals have not been planned yet. He said to try back after Halloween.

Has anyone had Thanksgiving dinner at US/IOA/Citywalk or PBH? Any information is appreciated. We are thinking about making a reservation now assuming most restaurants will have Thanksgiving options. Thanks in advance!

We are also flying in on thanksgiving day - to PBH! I am mom of two boys and one girl. :goodvibes

Thanks,

Susy

If I were going for Thanksgiving I would check out the buffet at The Kitchen. :cool1:

We had our Thanksgiving meal at Mythos in IOA last year and were very pleased. They did have their complete regular menu but we opted for traditional Thanksgiving fare. For a fixed price of $17.95 you got a choice of appetizer between squash soup or a salad of shrimp over mixed greens, the entree of roasted wild turkey with dressing and yams, and for dessert either pecan pie or apple pie a la mode. It was very good and we were glad we went.

Hi Lisa, thanks for the information. We just made our reservation for Thanksgiving dinner at Mythos! We love Mythos so I'm sure it will be great. Thanks again!

I'm glad I could help. We, too, love Mythos. In fact, we just got back from a weekend in FL and we had lunch Friday at Mythos. I had the risotto of the day, which Friday was a spinach risotto topped with sirloin tips in a wine sauce. It was delicious and best of all, it was my free meal with the UO dining card! Nothing like yummy and free!!

I think you'll enjoy your Thanksgiving meal there.

we ate at the PBH one year for Thanksgiving - it was wonderful - we booked about 20 days in advance, but I called the Hotel directly & they faxed me over menus.
They had a buffet set up at the Trattoria, it was amazing - full birds with stuffing, prime rib & more extras than you could fit on a plate. *I may have gained a pound or two just thinking about it!!* :goodvibes

Oh! They also put up a tree in the PBH harbor the day after - beautiful!!!! :flower:

That sounds great, do you remember how much it cost? Thanks!

Sure do! It was $40.00 per person - kind of steep for a buffet, but let me assure you, it was worth it !
In addition to what I said above, I forgot about some other things - there was a pasta station, where they would make you custom pasta dishes. There was a salad / seafood / appetitizers (like cheese & crackers, finger foods, & cold dishes) OH! & there were musicians that were walking around playing music & singing to each table.

We ate at Mythos also for Tday and thought it was good food and excellent value. Had the regular menu and a set Tday turkey meal. It wasn't super busy and I made ressies 2 or 3 weeks ahead.
