I am so surprised how little information there is about Thanksgiving dinner. All the resources I have found are for Thanksgiving 2010....

I am leaning towards the Fort Wilderness Pavilion, but
1. Would love some reviews of the Thanksgiving experience at the Pavilion; and
2. Can't figure out how to book it (it isn't listed on Disney's online reservation system, as far as I can figure.)

ANY input, suggestions, or info about the Fort Wilderness Pavilion meal OR thoughts about BETTER suggestions for our dinner will be SO appreciated! :thumbsup2

(FYI- It is just my hubby and I, and we are frequent Disney visitors, staying this time at Port Orleans Riverside.)

We will be here w/ you at this time at the same resort :). I didn't realize this as I couldn't find anything I really wanted so I went w/ my daughter's choice and booked Boma. We may keep it but I, too, would love info on Fort Wilderness....

BUMP!
We are also booked for this as well and are staying at POR!!:cool1:
I cannot find ANYONE who has ever eaten here! I PMed someone from 2002? who ate there but no response! I hope someone will reply. We wanted traditional fair and not Liberty Tree. We have dinner at Diamond horseshoe and it might be the same as LT BUT NO MENUS yet! Doesn't Disney know we are advance planners here:goodvibes

:) I read somewhere that the Diamond Horseshoe was overflow from LTT so if that is true then I think it would be the same menu...

Instead of the pavilion, try Trail's End . . .

1) I also like good food at Thanksgiving.
2) But, I also want a different atmosphere.
3) So, I have an off-the-wall and out-of-the-way favorite.

4) Trail's End Thanksgiving Lunch and Dinner Buffet
. . . hearty vegetable soup, salad bar, fruit
. . . smoked turkey breast, mustard glazed ham, corn bread stuffing
. . . chicken, bbq pork ribs, baked salmon, penne pasta
. . . green beans, glazed carrots, broccoli,
. . . butternut squash, mashed potatoes, candied yams,
. . . pumpkin pie

NOTE:
There are several WDW eateries with traditional Thanksgiving
food. I don't think there are any bad choices. Turkey is pretty
much turkey, and I can get that at home. So, I go for atmosphere
I can't get at home.
