In an effort to curb expenses a bit for our upcoming trip we are looking at 3 day base tickets instead of hoppers, meaning we would spend 2 days in MK and 1 in Epcot. We won't be able to go to DHS for thanksgiving dinner as originally planned.

Do any counter services (at MK) offer a thanksgiving type meal? Would the food court at Pop offer one?

TIA

Liberty Tree Tavern (Table Service) in MK offers "Thanksgiving Food" every day.

As to CS... the Turkey Leg stand and Baked Potato vendor. ;)

There are other choices at, for instance,

Cosmic Ray's http://allears.net/menu/men_cr.htm

1/2 Chicken and BBQ Rib Combination served with Mashed Potatoes and a seasonal vegetable $13.99

BBQ Rib Meal - 1/2 rack served with mashed potatoes and a seasonal vegetable $8.99

1/2 Rotisserie Chicken - with Mashed Potatoes and a seasonal vegetable $9.09

Grilled Chicken Sandwich served with apple slice or french fries $7.19

Chicken Nuggets (6 piece) served with apple slice or french fries $6.89

Chicken Nuggets (8 piece) served with apple slice or french fries $7.69

I've moved this thread to the Restaurants board. Hopefully someone here knows of one or two CS locations. :)

In the past POR offered a turkey dinner with all the sides on Thanksgiving Day. The price was reasonable and the portion was enough for two people. This was a great alternative to the rush for TS resteraunts that occurs on that day. The food court was pretty dead each time. We have not been to DW on Thanksgiving the past two years so I don't know if they still do this. It was not an advertised item except for a flyer left in the room the year we discovered this. Other resorts that we stayed at did not offer a Thanksgiving dinner so we would travel over to POR for this meal.

This isn't in MK, so I'm sure it won't help but at Wolfgang Puck Express the half rotisserie chicken and garlic mashed potatoes are yummmmmmmmm. :goodvibes

We were at POP last year and they did have a Thanksgiving meal offered in the food court. We didn't eat there, but did see it listed. Hope that helps! :goodvibes

Thank you all for responses! We tried Liberty Tree (completely booked) actually the only place they offered me was at DHS. I could eat the chicken no problem but my husband will want Turkey and my mom doesn't like chicken...

Really it doesn't matter to me...I will be with my family and my Mother who hasn't been to Disney in 21 years. :goodvibes

It isn't CS but one thing to consider is Trails End Buffet at Ft. Wilderness. For a TS the price is reasonable (by Disney standards:goodvibes a). I believe they have a holiday menu.
