My Mom and I were just talking about what to make for breakfast that is quick and easy on Thanksgiving morning. We are having 12 people for Thanksgiving and all of them are staying at the house the previous night (they are all family! LOL), so we were wondering what to make for Breakfast. We are throwing around ideas of Banana Bread, Pumpkin Bread, Cranberry Bread and setting it out on the table for everyone. It has to be something we can make the night before though.

Any ideas or should I just stick to the bread idea? Thanks so much for any help! I appreciate it!

Google "breakfast casseroles". They are easy to make up the night before, then you just pop them in the oven to heat up/cook in the morning while everyone's getting ready for breakfast.

agnes!

I was just going to say the same thing Agnes! Breakfast casseroles are so easy!

Serve it with a bread of some kind and fresh fruit. Great breakfast!

Here's a good one to put in the ol' crock pot the night before and wake up to a nice hot breakfast in the morning. We use it camping - Yum!

Crock Pot Breakfast

Ingredients
32 oz. frozen shredded hash browns
1 pound(s) cooked sausage (cut into pieces)
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 1/2 c shredded cheese
12 eggs
1 c skim milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Directions
Divide hash browns, sausage, veggies and cheese so you can create several layers of each in the crock pot. Start with the hash browns, then sausage, onions peppers and last cheese. Repeat until you have several layers. Beat eggs, milk salt & pepper pour over layers in the crock pot cover and turn on low. Cook for 10-12 hours overnight.

Breakfast casseroles are perfect! You could also add some muffins for that something sweet! :)

I've managed to sweet talk dh into making belgian waffles with his belgian waffle maker he got last year for Christmas. Yummy! :yay: He mixes the batter up the night before. Much easier that way.

since i'll be busy with the turkey, baking pies, making sides, i'm planning on some nice warm croissants with butter....

(DH will get his usual oatmeal...)

Thanks for all the ideas!! They are all excellent! I was looking at the Breakfast Casseroles and those look really good!

I only wish I could get my husband to make me some Belgian Waffles!! Yummy!

Thanks again, I appreciate all the replies! :)

I also always make a breakfast casserole- or I call it a cheese/sausage strata.
Here's the recipe for anyone that's interested!

6 eggs well beaten
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. horseradish
6 slices white bread-cubed or ripped
1 lb. breakfast sausage- cooked and drained
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Must do overnight

1. Mix first 5 ingredients, set aside
2. Pam, or butter a 13x9 inch baking dish
3. Combine egg and milk mixture w bread cubes and sausage. Pour into baking dish.
4. Top w grated cheese, and refrigerate 12 hours or night.
5. Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes.

Enjoy! My whole family asks for this every thanksgiving morning.

We eat pie for breakfast on Thanksgiving. We set the table right before bed the night before. All you have to do in the morning is make coffee and serve :goodvibes
