last year Christmas was CRAZY crowded. Will thanksgiving day be like that too in a few weeks?
Would you suggest Thrusday or Friday visiting the park during Thanksgiving week?

Hey Debee~
we went two years ago and will be there this year again. I didn't find it extremely crowded... but I took into consideration it WAS a major holiday. We arrive Wednesday morning and leave late Sunday.

We didn't have to wait long for buses, monorails, rides etc. We always got a fastpass when we could. Last time, we went to Epcot on Thanksgiving day last time and then to MK later at night. This year we're doing MGM and MK later again.

The crowds were heavy in MK on Saturday, but that's to be expected... just remember, things are as bad as you make them. If you go in with a good attitude, most things won't bother you. If you go in expecting the worst, then the worst will happen!

If the crowds get unbearable, take a break and go back to your hotel or to another park. have fun, we'll see you in the crowds!!

Thanks, yes, I know attitude is 90% of your comfort zone. I have teenagers this time around so I feel like we are WAAAAY more flexible than when they were little. We have not been to disney since 1994, so we are looking forward to it. Thanks for your positive perspective!

Go Disney!

We went to WDW over Thanksgiving a few years back and found the crowds to be large but happy...

People were in a very festive mood. The decorations for the Holidays were magnificent. They had much more street entertainment circulating amongst the throngs than usual. And there were some long waits for rides, particularly those without FastPass.

Although our family would not choose to go to WDW over Thanksgiving again, you might need to make up your own mind about this...

Who knows? This year might be a very light year, in comparison. I know that travel, in general, is way-off for the entire state of Florida as a result of all the hurricanes.

Maybe this would be a good year to go???
