Does anyone know what the thanksgiving day crowds were like last year? Just wondering what to expect this year.

I haven't been on TG recently, but I went once I decided to never go again. Very :crowded:. All the tourists that are in the DLR usually go as well as the AP who aren't block out.

But, you can still go and have a good time. Get there before DL opens. Grab all the FP you can at both DL and DCA in the a.m. to use later in the day when the crowds pick up. If you are going to watch the parade watch the one at 3:30 instead of 6:30. If you are going to watch the fireworks grab a spot early. Don't leave right after the FW, it'll be insane. (we were there on friday, the 21st) Either sit and relax and people watch or go do a ride.

If you don't care if you see that castle during the FW watch them from NOS/FL area. You can see them and still be snowed on. Also, if you want to watch Fantasmic, watch the show just before the FW. Alot of people will be on Main St. waiting.

Have fun!

We have gone many times during Thanksgiving. Outside of Spring break, I think it is the busiest that we ever see it. This year we have decided to go to Hawaii and beat the crowds. It is manageable if you work the system. Go early in the morning and hit rides and during the parades you can get a lot done if you don't want to watch them. It seems like over the years it has just gotten more and more packed. I'm sure that you would still have a good time.

Today was soooo busy! I was surprised it was busier than the weekend. I would expect crowds. Be sure to get there early and use a fast pass runner to get the passes as much as you can.

Yeah. Today was awful. REALLY crowded. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and Wednesday though so we'll see how the crowds pan out after the flood...
