Thanksgiving and free dining? 2013

Was thanksgiving blacked out during last years free dining promotion? We are debating going for the holiday but would love to have a free dining discount. Anyone know the details of the discount from 2013? Also how bad are the crowds? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! TIA

I would love to know as well! We are planning November 20-30th and would LOVE Free Dining!! There will be a total of 9 adults, 3 teens, 2 toddlers and 1 infant. We are celebrating our DGS First birthday, cousins DGS 1 1/2 birthday, our 30th Anniversary and Cousins 26th Anniversary........Let the planning begin!!

We went this year with free dining. I believe free dining lasted until the 23rd, which was the Sat. before Thanksgiving, but I am not positive. As long as you arrive within the FD dates, you get FD for your entire stay.
We arrived on Thursday, the 21st and the crowds were very manageable until Wednesday. While waits were still not bad, we noticed a difference. Thursday and Friday were very crowded and we did not get much accomplished. But this was a relaxed trip for us and we went in knowing our last couple of days were to take in shows, less crowded attractions and to look at the decorations at the hotels.
We really enjoyed seeing the Christmas decorations and the weather was wonderful.

We went the week before Thanksgiving, 13th to 23rd, with the free dining plan. Even though it was my first visit, most of the rides had short standby times except for the popular rides. So the FP+ worked out great for us. Some of the times it was really crowded but very manageable. I honestly thought it was going to be crowded but wasn't.....
