Thanksgiving 2008 - SOG

We are planning to go to Disney for Thanksgiving in 2008! Yippee!!!

I was on the SOG website to make reservations and November 2008 is all red (red means sold out), even though November 2007 still has some green and yellow. I find it hard to believe November '08 is completely booked. Does anyone know if November 2008 is really booked? Or, could it be it is too early to make reservations?

Please let me know because I can't call until tomorrow when they open back up.

You really need to call. The website does NOT provide the most up to date information. For our dates in January, they showed no availability, but in calling, I had no problem getting a room.

It IS possible that November 08 is already sold out...but you won't know for sure until you call.

Poohbeck - I just went to the SOG web site and November 2008 is all green except for the 12th which is orange. November 2007 is all red except for the 12th which is orange, probably for Veterans Day weekend. Try checking again.

I looked at the SOG site yesterday and saw the all red and was like "WHAT??!!" Panicked at first but thought that that can't be right. If it is, we'd find somewhere else.

Then I checked this morning and I saw what the pp saw - all green with the 12th amber. So, I went ahead and put in our reservation. Now when I go back it's all red again. I'll call tomorrow and see what's going on.

We're going Nov. 7-15th. We honeymooned there 10 years ago.

thanks for the responses. I just checked the site and the dates are now green. I went ahead to booking and the system will only let you book through Nov. 11th. I guess it's too early, but, I will call tomorrow to be sure.

We're planning for Thanksgiving 2008 at SoG too. We were looking recently & the same thing kept happening - one time all red, the next all green. We tried to make a ressie online & it said that ressies can be made up to a year in advance. So, it can't be sold out yet!
