ok Pirate night do you all get totally dressed up ?? do you have a pirate costume and all .. or do you just wear the things disney gives out i got the guys pirate tee shirts and pre made head things that liike like a skull cap that the bikers wear, still not too sure what to do with the females any ideas

We usually just add a few items.. Patch and a vest... My daughter like to be Captain Hook... If you dress up it makes for some great photos.

i saw some where that you should pack a button extender for your pants being that you wind up eating so much i think i may have to pack a few just in case

2 things :

we have been to both locations for lunch when boarding...we are usually one of the first to board...we will be going to topsiders unless bad weather b/c we like the view

also, as to the character breakfast, we believe that for this cruise it will be back to the old way w/the characters coming to the tables due to the number of kids this particular week.

Our DS dresses as a pirate. He wears a full costume and usually the counselors in the OC/OL add pirate makeup. There are lots of photo ops-pirate mickey, pirate minnie and capt. jack sparrow.

I pack two sizes. The larger size to wear from Wednesday thru Saturday.

We've always gone to Topsiders the first day,because it's our tradition. (While sailing our first cruise in 2002, we didn't know Parrot Cay was an option, so we headed straight to Topsiders. Can't imagine doing it any differently now. I also love the way it's so bright and open.)

i hope that they do come to the tables i think it a good way to get all the kids into the picture i really dont think i would be able to get a 21 year old to hang with mickey for a picture if he came to the table they would have no choice ha ha ha

pooh mommy, I've never seen the characters come to any tables during dinner, but they are always in the lobby right before dinner.

We just tip at the end of the week. I do the tip envelopes and tip daily when I am at WDW.

QUESTION OF THE DAY!!!

What is your favorite show onboard the Magic or Wonder?

The favorite show for my DD and I is Hercules: The Muse-ical. It is a riot, and I love how they keep changing the jokes to stay current.

well if that is true then my kids will have to be forced in taking pictures with them lol im sure it will cost me $$ something ill just say come on just take this one pic its my thing and 20 pictures later they will be yelling come on mom lol

i think to keep my self sane im going to make up the tips here and once we get there they will all be done and that way i can just give my kids the ones i made for them when its needed. not that im doing all of them in one night for all of us
